Nvidia GeForce NOW SA launch

Had some issues with their payment gateway not showing up during checkout, but that seemed to sort itself out a few minutes later.

Glad they got it out for the weekend.

Happy gaming, folks.

So, they are calling it Ultra plan because it's a RTX3080 with max 4K 60 FPS. 1440p gives you 120 FPS. Damnit. We want the RTX4080.

What’s your data usage so far on the Ultra Plan. Feel like I’ll have to upgrade my line again :D

1000 iq move by Rain to silent launch this thing so that there aren't a million people trying to queue today.

Also, did anyone else keep their priority membership?

Edit: don't mind that question, the timing of all 3 posts was something else lol

Idk, if GFN doesnt get popular, will they need to shut down the servers? Or will Nvidia keep it up because, well, Africa. They dont have a free tier at the moment. And I doubt there will be so much traffic because of the payment barrier.

Edit: Atleast GFN got its own littler advert between the colours of the router they are selling

They've already bought the hardware, so I doubt they'll shut it down unless there are only a few people subscribed to the service for a prolonged period of time.

Also, after the initial setup and whatnot, Nvidia does not have that kind of control for the service. Alliance partners decide whether they want to keep the service running or not, upgrade the hardware when they want and also modify the tiers as they please.

I can't replicate but maybe someone else here saw it but it seems like they have a "sold out" banner for the tiers.

Went to the GeForce Now page and for a quick second, the priority banner went from sold out to the normal one that we have.

Quite the difference from other alliance partners if it actually works.
