On a serious note though, I wonder what AMD's answer to this is? I mean these are global competitors
I don't think they have one, AMD is also in businesses Nvidia is yet to enter/isn't mature in.On a serious note though, I wonder what AMD's answer to this is? I mean these are global competitors
Havent heard or seen anything with regards to AMD in this space. Closest competitors were things like stadia and xbox cloud gaming. On a serious note though, I wonder what AMD's answer to this is? I mean these are global competitors
I guess they just needed to test the service under pressure and stuff, don't really need to test both tiers for thatIt's still very weird that they didn't test 3080s, only 3060s...
Its doubtful that its actual separate hardware, more likely high spec clustered that is virtualized gpus. Also would be standard with GeforceNow clusters so the scale and testing is more the auth, queuing and billing etc. It's still very weird that they didn't test 3080s, only 3060s...
So will al the GPU rendering stuff happen on a server somewhere locally then? No need to upgrade my 1050Ti card?
We'd still be paying R1-R3 if that was the caseI bet Rain got the entire system for free and Nvidia is paying the rent on everything
Correct, but for more general GFN info, please read their product pages/open a different forum thread. So will al the GPU rendering stuff happen on a server somewhere locally then? No need to upgrade my 1050Ti card?

I've contacted rain South Africa via your support page, I've...mybroadband.co.za
