Nvidia GeForce NOW SA launch

Was looking forward to trying out 2042 but now I'm getting this error code 0x000001f8 on every game I try to play. I'm assuming it's due to the cable issues rn, but it was working fine the whole week.

Tried all the fixes I found online, too. And talked to Nvidia customer support. No dice.

(and Assassin's Creed Origins still doesn't have a Ubisoft Connect option in SA lol)

edit: working for now!

Gah this is ****ing annoying, I'm guessing they have oversubscribed to ultra, nothing like being forced to play games at 948p because apparently the GFN client has a heart attack trying to do ultrawide on the prio rigs (3060)

Nvidia is trying to optimize to have certain games on the lower gpu to allow more gamers at the same time. I'm guessing this is part of that.

Blue pill = Wait in queue for a rig when we're at capacity.
Red pill = No queues but you get priority on 3060 rigs over priority subs.

Would be nice if we had a choice but they just shoved the red pill down our throats lol
I've seen this happen before in EU though.

I don't think it's that, because if I close the game and wait a bit I'll eventually get a 3080, I'm guessing they are giving prio to ultra to skip queues.

It wouldn't be such a annoyance if they didn't screw with the resolutions :(

If I get the RTX3060 I still have everything from Ultra except it's capped at 60fps stream instead of the 120fps. I game on 1080p.

Yeah, Priority(3060) rig but still Ultra config.
Better than queues I guess and seems to be more frequent in the late evenings on weekends.

I don't. On the 3060 I'm getting prio limits on settings :( 60fps and 1080p resolution cap, no VRR, still getting the 8 hours tho

Max res and max famerate are tied to the vGPU profile which is tied to the VM ("3060" rigs go up to 1080p60, "3080" rigs go up to 4k60.)
Your account subscription only affects the rigs you are assigned to and how long you can play on them so you'll still get 8 hours because you have an ultra sub
