Anyone else seeing strange latency on the service (Priority)?
I'm on 100/100 with Supersonic and even when I do a speedtest to Rain in JHB I'm seeing 200+ latency. Same if I ping Rain.co.za.
If I do a speediest to Rain in CT the latency is fine.
I've logged tickets with Supersonic and Rain but it seems like a very specific issue.
Is anyone else experiencing something similar? The lag makes games completely unplayable.

SuperSonic has some bad routing , had the LTE from them and had poor latency and bad routing on some services

Got some really bad latency today. Local speedtest is 90+ so no issue there.

Although this shows their loadbalancer is also not happening. I've always had "some" packet loss on the app but it never showed in direct traces at the end. And that was from multiple ISPs in Durbs so something with the peering and the end loss on rain side for the last hop.
I think your issue starts at Vox before the JINX peering.
Afrihost peering with Rain at NAP JHB is fine.

Yeah been running for a longer session,
Run the ping plotter to 41.193.72.2 and 41.193.119.30 to see if there is loss

funny enough next hop has no loss even though it "passes" through it.

Sigh, had to nag to finally get a Vox tech online, insisted on trying the typical reset , change ip etc, no joy as expected. Told him he needs to escalate to his NOC to resolve.

Not sure you going to get far with their support, the reason I left my previous ISP was for the same reason. Decided to go with a ISP with presence on here. Never looked back, if I had an issue, was resolved within a hour or 2
