R200 is a lot for 1080p, 2 years gets you GPU.

Someone mentioned free, that will be interesting because priority internationaly is a lot more than 90 minutes a session.

People are seriously delusional when it comes to price expectations vs reality.

For the hardware you're getting (as mentioned by others too) it's going to take 3.5years just to pay off the GPU (Ultimate), let alone CPU, RAM, NVME, PSU etc (and big electricty draw) that your own gaming rig would require.

It's a no brainer at that price point to just use GeForce now (if your connectivity allows it).

People moaning here about R200 or R400 are the same people that would spend that in the blink of an eye for fast food or a bottle of Klippies.

Some of us need that CPU, ram etc. for purposes other than gaming anyway, so it’s not an added expense.

Also, the GPU isn’t a 1:1 comparison. You are getting a compressed video feed and lots of added latency which means an inferior experience. You have to weigh the pros and cons.

Yeah listing for only Rain customers, public prices are still undecided on the API

Guess we will have to wait for a bit…Hope its not a situation where Rain doesnt do anything on their social medias for GFN with no release date. Really left us in the dark for a full year

Anyone else notice that they were charged for the full month of December?

October's invoice covered the prorated part of October from the date of joining, in my case, around the middle of the month (billed at around 50%ish of R3.00) and also the full month of November (the full R3.00).

Then the 30 November invoice covered the full month of December. Screenshotted that part, below:

I'm not about to open a dispute about R3.00 - it was an exceptional deal either way obviously worth much more, but it's just a bit interesting in terms of expectation management, considering that they clearly have the ability to pro-rate the billing as seen in October.

Is there something like the ROG Ally or Logitec G Cloud....but way cheaper, that one can use with GFN? I'm also considering just going with a 8" tablet and a BT controller. I have a Ipega controller, using it with my phone. But my phone screen is too small and I use it for other stuff.
