Nvidia GeForce NOW SA launch

Any game that relies heavily on single core performance will suffer (Total War series, AOE series etc) because the cpu we have here (Threadripper 3955wx) isn't strong enough to brute force a single threaded game.
Besides that use case, it's a pretty decent cpu.

How did you find out the exact model? Every game that I've run benchmarks on that usually gives all the details just says "16 Core Ryzen" with no part id lol

Difference in CPU cores available in Priority vs Ultra and FPS on the same settings in Assassins Creed Mirage benchmark.

Priority - RTX 3060

Interesting

Adding to the CPU debate for GFN Now Priority and Ultra tiers.

Below is a benchmark running on my gaming pc with an intel i5 12600KF and RTX2080.

Look at the CPU usage. Basically, idling but with GFN the CPU usage on both the Priority and Ultra tier are always between 60-97%

This is very interesting because if my i5-12600KF is basically idling why is the AMD Threadripper cpu struggling with more than double the CPU benchmark score. The only thing I can think of is on GFN the CPU is shared and not sure how many machines per CPU or per core. I will run some more tests. 8pm vs 3am to see if the CPU usage differs between these times. If it's lower in the early am then we know the Ryzen CPU's on GFN is shared extensively between instances.

Actually shared CPUs might track, would certainly explain the massive differences I've been seeing in performance from session to session

I haven't used Geforce now in quite some time, just waiting for load shedding to start picking up. Then I'll get my use out of it

still impressed with the detail on the ultra tier, but GFN still has some problems with heavy vegetation. However, the 100mbps bitrate does help a bit in retaining that extra detail.

anyways, time to go back into my little hole. :whistling:

Ah Plagues tale........ very nice.

I want to try Hellblade 2 when it launches and I wish HellBlade 1 was on there.

Why do you need users specific account details for generic queries like this? It's unrelated to anyone's specific account/profile and we would appreciate a public response for everyone's benefit.
Lol, they did respond, I actually have a open conversation about stuff during the beta but it is public enough info which I will quote here ( DON'T ban me now dammit for posting PM's! ).

When you log on to the Nvidia app, you'll find a 'Send Feedback' button in the right-hand corner. You can press it to request a game.

Would be great if they just answered the question publicly in the forum thread where it was asked in the first place, when it comes to generic questions like that.
Seems unnecessary to take something like that to DM's, and also to just lob the ball back into your court to send them another message.

But anyway, NBD, thanks for sharing the info :)

Anyone else got kicked out today? I cant login it keeps telling me to get a membership.
