So i have used to be off the NZB scene for some time and would like to get back into it.

I used to used SABNZBD as the download client and tied that in with SickBeard.

Unfortunately I also moved over to Vox who I see does not have a newsserver. So I guess I am asking, those who still use NZB's, what is your current setup?

What indexer do you use? Which download client? Which newsserver?

Sonarr with SABNZBD and i use tweaknews.eu as news server.

So it is not much different than before, sonarr is a bit more user friendly than sickbeard, but effectively the same.

Sonarr is still actively developed and supported, sickbeard not. It's a pity vox don't have a news server, it's the only reason I keep a telkom account as well.

Its quite frustrating. I am trying to integrate Sonarr with uTorrent (NZB's dont seem to be an option for me at the moment) and it appears that the most recent Sonarr update broke uTorrent integration. Fun times.

do you have zootropolis on your nzb server? mine doesn't. just wondering if I should explore further.

Did you search for "Zootropolis" and "Zootopia"?
Remember, that movie was marketed under two different names worldwide.
I only see CAM versions available at the moment, so it looks like the DVD version hasn't been released yet.

Some people mentioned they had it ling time already. Ok no that's fine then. I'll just wait. Should just take the little one to go see it.

Yes, but don't bother with the 3D. It's a great movie, but the 3D version is pointless.

What indexer do you use?

Edit: Nevermind. Getting to grips with this automation stuff. I think I've got nzb.is set up correctly with Sonarr.

Let me add my 2c.

I use SABNZBD with Sonarr, about 8 indexers and I use NewsDemon for my provider.

If you don't need high retention then get a frugal account, its an annual fee of $50 or a monthly fee of $4.99.

Use this link if you want to sign up for NewsDemon, I use a 200GB pm account. They have a 2676 day retention which means you can get old movies and episodes.

I plan to change my setup though to a newsdemon block account (for the older stuff) with the frugal account as my daily.

NZBGeek with SuperNews.
Download with Alt.Binz or SABnzdb.

Pardon the liberty I am taking, but please vouch for me when the time comes on NZBGeek - I picked you as "user I know" when submitting a registration request.

What option is the best value for money in nzbgeek? Looks like more than two years and lifetime. But my brain is struggling with the lifetime option. Might just opt for a year initial.

I think I will just take lifetime once my trial runs out. Service seems great and I would like to keep using it for more than two years. R400 for forever (theoretically) sounds ok to me.

Please share your indexes. I have three but two always fail, i am always getting nzb from one and lately sabnzbd cant download. i get tha missing nzb error.

Hi guys, I'm new to this. I used the SAIX news servers with binsearch.info, getting between 400KB/s - 479KB/s on a 4Mbps line. Besides binsearch, I see NBZGeek posted on the forum. Anything else I can try? How do I sign up for NBZGeek btw?

NZBGeek has a sign up link on their landing page. Feel free to use me as a reference user. For an API, you would need to sign up as a VIG (?) user. There is a 2 week free trial and paid options after that. It's been working like a charm so far and I am planning to sign up as a USD30 lifelong member, I feel it's worth it.

What is VIG? And what's the API for? Sorry, new to this. So not so clued up on some aspects.
