Good day..

I have ran out of internation cap, so have to ask here.. does anyone know where the 2010 outlook emails are located? Because I want to format my computer, but don't want to download any of the emails.. (Wasting cap..) so if I could copy and paste them... that will be great..

Assuming that you can copy and paste the emails

If you know please help...

Thanks

Just search your pc for *.pst - should be somewhere under C:\Users\Your Name.

Alternatively, you can open Outlook and go to Data File Management - it should show you the path to your data file.

For 2010, It's generally in My Documents, just check there - probably in a folder called "Outlook Data Files" or the like.

c:\Users\(YourNAME)Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Outlook or C:\Users\(YourNAme)\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook

Im pretty sure thats where they sit.....

Good luck

That's for Microsoft Office 2007.

The new Office 2010 has made it easier to locate your data file.

Thanks hey..

I can't realy do anything, beacuse my computer is currently down, but wil ask again if I have any more problems!

you can also shoot into the mail icon in CP and check where your outlook files are located , but a quick search is the fastest way encase a default path was not used at one point
