That was a fair yellow IMO. Blatant, deliberate infringements on defence in your own 22 should always be handled like that. Quarter final or not...

The All Blacks are overdue for a cup title. Last taste of success was in 1987 if I remember correctly.

Pocock is a blatant cheat.

Pocock got away with what the ref let him. I am not saying I agree but our guys should have started doing the same thing.

Brussouw being injured was a huge blow....

He wasn't injured, he was taken out by Vickerman. He kneed him in the head.

I am pissed as hell but more at the ref and the players that took our guys out, Pocock should have been yellow carded he played the ball on the ground so much but that's not his fault, he took chances (as Aus players will always do) and when the ref did nothing, he did it some more. That was the worst reffing of the breakdown that I have ever seen.

not sure if this has been mentioned here but IMO some blame is on the shoulders of Steyn. The guy is in the squad because of his boot yet despite complete territorial dominance he made only one attempt at a drop goal. Should have been demanding the ball in the pocket.
