This weekend's sport is starting rather dreadfully. This loss by Chiefs, albeit the result of some dodgy calls by the whistle carrying dude, and the Windies imploding. Eish!

What grates me is the amount of work being done by the attacking team in front of the ball.

Taking out potential tacklers, blocking defenders, falling over the ball... where and when will it end?

As a defensive player I would tackle anyone in front of the ball who is near the ball carrier. And I would hit him into the ball carrier. Cannot be penalised ... not even for tackling a man without theball.
