Official 2015 Super Rugby Thread

Agreed. The BULLS didn't win as much as the sharks lost. Or rather neither looked particularly interested in winning

Man, it was horrifying. I counted 13 Gary Owens BB, none of which amounted to anything.

One blindside break and the Bulls score.

I just don't get it?!

It can't be the players. Ludeke/Gold are a pair of malignant moles on the back of South African rugby.

We sit with the likes of Mallett and Mitchell in the studio while our premier rugby teams have Ludeke and Gold??? Fck me, it saddens me.

IRB's done a lot to tidy the scrums and police the tip tackle but what they doing about the career ending clean outs??

I don't rate Gold at all (And there is absolutely no game plan.) but the players are sub par as well. There are too many has beens and sub par players like Zwelinger and SP in key positions.

Is it just me or did the surface of the Freestate stadium look appalling?

No wonder there were so many injuries.

Cruden set to miss World Cup

Really hope this isn't the case and he recovers faster. :(

With guys like Dan Carter and Colin Slade (who is playing amazing rugby!), this isn't the end of the world for them. Even the Highlanders number 10 (the name eludes me now. I want to say Leila Sopoaga or something like that?) is playing great rugby. They are blessed with outstanding flyhalves.

Carter is playing shyte at the moment. Beauden Barrett and Slade will be the shoe-in flyhalves. Lima Sopoaga is also very good, yeah. Not quite sure if he's international quality, though...

On current form Carter will not even make the waterboy squad for the All Blacks.

Slade and Barrett are their only real options now.

I quite like Ihaia West from the Blues. Playing in a losing side he has shown some real signs of being a great flyhalf.

EDIT: Snap OrbitalDawn

Agreed he was HORRIBLY off colour against the Chiefs this weekend past (as well as not being great against the Highlanders the week before). The big name players always step up though in the big occasion and provided he stays injury free, he should be back on song come the RWC.

Can't believe I forgot about Barrett, the baby faced assassin.

Just occurred to me that Sopoaga might be a pacific islander (meaning he won't qualify to play for NZ). Could be wrong on this front though...

Also not sure how playing at 12 is affecting Carter's game. He definitely won't play there at RWC...
