Your rules suck. Not everyone runs fraps on their pc's. People who own servers should be considered of other players, as if no one is playing on your servers, then your server, which you pay for, will be useless.

The whole swearing thing in games is k@k, but the age restriction on the package is their for more than the violence.

If some little brat somewhere is playing on your server and someone says a word thats offending the lil' mofo, then he shouldn't be playing the game. The whole swearing rule is like telling a cinema full of people watching a age restricted horror film not to scream or swear when they get a scare.

Sure, you pay for it, but you will be wasting your money if you ban people left and right because you cant handle the "heat".
 
OK, so I just noticed that the connection problems I experience ingame, affect my whole PC's internet connection. My whole connection DIES!!! I'll need to see if It actually disconnects and re-connects on the router side ... hmmmm OK, my connection has been up for 2 days, so its not at the router ... So what the hell does BO do that can kill all my ingoing and outgoing TCP/IP connections Via my router to the great interwebzzz ???

Also why is the port for black ops (3074) listed as a registered port for "Xbox LIVE and/or Games for Windows - LIVE" ?? (Official Port/application combination is registered with IANA) check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_TCP_and_UDP_port_numbers

I am going to hire a server as well, and if you name does not start with a P*** ....... you will be banned.

I saw that when I get the spikes/lag/call it what you want, I call it fsck, then my frames drop to +-15. :wtf: I am so pee'd of right now, I am going to sleep.
 
I notice there was a steam update this morning. Anyone knows if it made a difference to Black Ops?

By all means, please feel free not to join our server then. We have 42 people in our clan so the server will be utilized either way. Take your barbarian manners to another server and become someone elses problem. See if I care.

If you could actually read you would see that I said EXCESSIVE (Exceeding the usual bounds of something; extravagant; immoderate - Wiki) swearing would result in a KICK from the server. Second offense - TEMP ban and third offense perma ban...

Why be a keyboard warrior anyway? It is a game and nothing else.

on a lighter note i got my best score in a cod multiplayer game 48/14, yes i know its not up there with you Pros but im chuffed, never got in the 40s before, lets hope that patch comes out soonish to smoothen things out
 
We plan on monitoring our servers. With all the issues at the moment, None of us can really play but we have been working on the rules and I will put them up on our webpage. I personally dont mind the swearing or the occasional FFS, or venting but swearing other players will not be tolerated. They will be kicked :)

I never got 10 kills in a game with all the Laaaaaaaaaaag.
 
After long last I reached level 40 last night. I can only get myself to play for about 1 hour or so before I get frustrated with the lag and quit... Hopefully that will be sorted this weekend!

I have had my say on the whole ROE thing. If you don't like it, leave it.

Yeah, I think I'm on level 36 ... but I feel the same as you, I freakin hate that little "network plug" image that pops up !!! And its so unpredictable. And in the 30 seconds or so that I wait (if it does not completely disconnect me) I get killed a bunch of times ?!?! So usually I only play 3 or four games and thats my frustration levels done!
 
Is anyone else getting black screen freezes? Sometimes my screen just goes black and the game freezes, have to close the game with task manager. Must be part of the ''black ops'' strategy :P
 
I see some people (Cornerboy) is on prestige 1 level 30/40 already! WTF??? :)

I do see the point in wanting some sort of order, but what is now stopping you from banning anyone and everyone????
Your rules of excessive vs. the next will be different. So just be careful that your, whoever the clan or server do not get the name of being over sensitive. Then you can go play by yourselves. :D

YES !! finally someone else!! Happens on the wifes PC. She has a stock Q6600 (2.4ghz), 3gig DDR2 800 ram, XFX HD4890, Win7 32bit. She had it happen twice yeserday!!!

Did not really see the point in MW2, except that I did not get to play with my favorite guns until level 48, and some or other shiny new badge.....so, unless they make it really worth while, it's going to be 50 and that's it
