Official Fallout 4 Thread

a top down view would be amazing for settlement building, or even a mini game isometric type view. Try building a connecting wall at an angle, not fun.
 
Only got to play last night.
The game looks damn nice, very purrty.

I do have an odd "glitch"... every 10 mins or so the game will freeze for about 60 seconds, and then continue, very odd and frustrating.
GPU drivers are up to date, and also tried lowering the graphics settings, but alas no luck.
 
The map's so tiny. Far smaller than Skyrim. What a disappointing pile of overhyped ****.

This game has a ton more content than skyrim and fallout 3 combined. And yes, how long have you been playing? Because with a statement like that i am guessing not that much. Wait till you get into it. Its crazy how much there is.l and how tightly its packed together.

He said you can uncover all of the map in 30 minutes :D

I'm 14 or 15 hours in and feel like I'm scratching the surface.

I think the official time is 11min. Yeah im also about 13 hours in and ive only done the second story quest. ****ing love this game. Now im on a mission to find the alien blaster
 
Dunno why people are complaining about the graphics. The lighting system is the best I've seen on a game. Yes character models leave allot to be desired but for me it adds to that 60s futuristic style the game aims at
 
My one gripe is why is there no transportation, you telling me I can have Power Armor and lasers etc but no one can fix me a bike or ATV or something?
 
Even if it's not a motor vehicle, isn't this just a updated Skyrim engine where you had a horse, they can just repurpose that and give us some mutated creature to ride.
 
I am about an hour in and I am having a good time.

Sure you can find every location in 11 minutes but can you obsessively find and loot every container?

I am all about the OCD looting.

Also the graphics to their job and don'tt detract from the game.

An offroad bike would be awesome.
 
This game is crashing so much I'm considering just waiting until a patch comes along. I've never experienced this before. Even Arkham Knight played fine for me on PC.

No particular action triggers a crash as far as I can tell. It just crashes every 5-15 minutes. My PC doesn't lock up per se, but it's impossible to close Fallout 4 so I have to reboot. Bloody annoying.
