Official LG G2

Mines the same...reckon there a few devices doing the update...mines been going for 2hrs and its only at 25%
 
a family member off to Australia. i see the 32GB LG G2 is available. Seriously thinking of getting 1.
I currently have a 16GB G2 but space going to be an issue in the future as i save alot of pics etc on the phone.

Besides GSM version is there anything else to lookout for when getting the G2 from AUS?

I just received the OTA Kitkat update. Using the Vodacom network. Has anyone else received it? I purchased my phone in Dubai and the software update was released in Dubai today.
 
In this case, I don't think so.... With Samsung yes, but I think LG does it according to region device is in, or was bought in....
 
I couldn't wait. There is a stock Rom repackaged as a flashback zip on XDA. Did the trick.

Seeing as I've cracked my screen once already from a not so serious fall... I'm looking at importing this.

No one locally seems to stock it so they all add a markup to the amazon price and just bring that in... cheapest I've seen is about R430 with delivery.

Diminishing point of no return seems to be 3 units... but even if it's just me and 1 other person it will probably be fine. Amazon reckons no customs/taxes so the price below is unit and shipping only.

1 - R345 ea
2 - R272 ea
3 - R248 ea
4 - R236 ea
5 - R229 ea

Anyone interested ?

Is this the official rom? I'm thinking about flashing my phone. Will I receive updates when the android OS is upgraded again?

Dekana posted it in the previous page, its really helpful. Just follow the steps the person says and you should have no problem. Only issues I had was I didnt have apn settings which was easily solved. I havent had any phantom button presses since so I think the 4.2.2 jb was a little messed up.

Stevo it is the official rom, however it's unlikely you will get ota updates unless you install the os from the region your phone is from, i.e SA phone, SA firmware.

Raithlin is there a way to root 4.4.2 if you didn't flash su in the install?
