I love knock on/off. So used to it now that when I use my S2 it's so odd having to use a physical button to do that :D

So I'm running ART on my device to test the viability of the runtime... Will post some feedback after a few days of normal usage. But so far, all my lovely Xposed modules no longer work :(

Let us know how it goes, apparently battery life is improved using ART. Haven't tried it on my G2 but didn't help much on my old S2 running CM11.

Would be insane if I could get more battery out of this phone, I've just gone 3 days without charging and almost 3 hours SOT. If ART can give me more I'm not going to complain :D

So, booting into ART was a mission, and it didn't actually work very well- it boots, but I had to reboot it about 10 times to just get beyond the app optimisation aspect, and even then, it was still on Dalvik as the runtime. I'll find a way around this.

Your battery life has always been good- are you running any specific apps to help out, like Greenify, or killing any wakelocks?

Not doing anything special. Don't run too many apps which probably helps. Only really have Mail, WhatsApp, Facebook+Twitter and Tapatalk. I think cell signal quality also plays a huge part.

I charge my phone when I get home from work. When full Ill use it to browse some youtube etc before going to bed with in on the bedside. Then it will go through the full day until I get home and generally be in around 10%.

I do use it sometimes as a garmin when my usual garmin decides it cant locate satelites at the moment. I do play some clash of clans. I do push emails to it. I use enmondo when I walk an hour a day. Whatsapp , bbm messenger and facebook etc are always on. Other than that I dont use it "heavily". My wifi is mostly off and I dont even use it for phone calls. I do have it set on lte though. So while I agree its a great phone for its price I dont see it going 2 days without charge. Certianly not 3.

Im a sales rep so I carry around a little dumb nokia for phone calls as I am on the phone constantly. Probably charge it every second week.

I'm using the OptimusG3 ROM, use Waze for at least 2 hours a day on medium to full brightness, play SW: Commander, Clash of Clans, Quiz Up, check Twitter regularly, don't sync facebook, have WhatsApp and listen to podcasts twice a day for about an hour each way. I get to work with about 80%, charge from 40~% at lunchtime, and just make it to 10pm, after having used it as XBMC remote. Oh, and the occasional YouTube vid. ;)

I am on WiFi for most of the day because Cell C coverage is crap. I love my phone, and on weekends can get through a day without too much trouble. Would love to know exactly what it is that keeps my battery draining - I have tried DS Battery Saver, Greenify and various other "battery saver" type apps and/or tricks.

Of course, it could just be me using it... :erm:
