Thanks. Updated this morning and guess what... knock code works from screen off! Yay! :D

It's always worked this way? at least for me it has.

Oh, and I solved my wifi issue. Turns out it was related to my settings, but I'm not entirely sure how. Resetting the router and reconfiguring my network fixed it.

Hey G2ers - thinking of getting a new G2 for my upgrade, want to save some money and not get the latest and greatest - you reckon it's good enough for daily use for 2 years going forward?

Good luck at finding a G2.
My wife and I had to run all over to try and find 1 and we got the last available phone in Canal Walk.
It's apparently been discontinued as the G3 is out :(

Hmm, nope only started working with 2.0, the default kernel with CloudyG3 didn't support it before. Unless you were using a different kernel it's unlikely knock code was working with the screen off.

Possible. I don't remember if I checked this prior to flashing Dorimanx.

CloudyG3 is one awesome ROM, especially when coupled with G3 Tweakbox. Gonna try the G3 Debloater later, to see if it cleans up some of the bloat.

Indeed. Battery life in version 2 seems to be even better now too. Mine is going 2 days moderate use and still on 50% battery.

Yeah it's rock solid so far. No reason to look for another rom for me.

Only problem I now have, is that Knock Off does not work with the GEL :(

At least I can remedy that somewhat with Xposed.

I just set a blank area on the home page to a widget with Screen Off shortcut for 1 tap.

Yeah, similar effect with Xposed GEL Settings, which allows me to set the back button as a screen off shortcut when on the default homescreen.

Hey guys, could someone tell perhaps me... Does the stock g2 ROM have an FM radio app? And if so, does anyone using custom roms know where I could get a replacement app? Cyanogenmod doesn't come with one stock and I've been looking for ages for one.. Thanks!

Maybe even try installing the Cloudy G3 ROM. It's absolutely phenomenal.
