C'mon dude, you know better than to believe goal.com

Even if this bat**** crazy story was true:

1. Fergie, with the amount of defensive problems he has been having, would never want to sell the best defender of last season.
2. If RM wanted him badly enough, they would have to make an insanely high offer, one which SAF would have no choice but to accept, probably in the 40m + zone.
3. This in turn would buy us cover in the defence dept, not to mention help bring in talent in other positions. He's after Chiellini, apparently.

Ya, Goal is never reliable. Have heard this story elsewhere as well but nowhere reputable yet...

[Cantera]

Barca has been interested in Silva before United. Its old news. Im sure most footy sites will have the story now that silly season is upon us.

4-1 united.

4-1? What's wrong with your defence?

[hj2k_x]

Going well so far

[fishfly]

5-0! w00t

[hj2k_x]

That is much more like it.

Valencia looking awesome.

[RanzB]

Goals by Raphael (brilliant game!), Rooney (plus hit the posts twice), Berbatov (could've had 3), Carrick and Valencia.

The best part of this game is that at 5-0 we were still pushing for goals.

Ah! I have that strange feeling, its that time of year..

I think we been through this before *cough* three titles in a row *cough*

[fishfly]

it's only dbecks thinking of the title... I'm thinking of winning the next game

Taking some strain 1-0 down to Leeds.

Wes Brown just got away with a bad 'over the top' tackle - should have been red carded.

As Wenger might say, the decision was Old Traffordish
Leeds just got out of jail, they should have wrapped this up 15 minutes earlier Leeds.

First major casualty of the 3rd round....

/wonder who has a new Fergie-induced hairstyle?

[Stevie G]

the old fak fergie said that even 5min of extra time was a disgrace. i think he is a disgrace to the game.fa are to scared for this moter faker. the game showed that fa cup is still alive.

[Stickfigure]

Right now Pool are a disgrace to the game my friend.

[Positively Negative]

wow... MAJOR upset.... love it

[hj2k_x]

Disappointing in many ways. Thought Fergie would play the youth/2nd string.

Still, now we can focus on the major honours.
