Good one Supa!

erm guys If I remember correctly WASN'T Real Madrid reported to be in some BAD debt??? htf do they afford to muster 129 mill for 1 player?

crazy people

Since when has real madrid being in bad debt??

They have 23% debt compared to manu's 54% which makes them the richest club in the world if debt was not counted.

So the spanish goverment is now paying for real madrid stadium.lol
You aware it was build in the 40s?

On the other hand manu's debt I see has sored now to 700million pound

I wonder if it will climb to a billion pound debt in a couple of years.

I am sure it is exactly the same as it was in the 40s. ;)

We all agree debt is not good. Trying to say Real Madrid aren't one of the biggest culprits is simply wrong.

How exactly are they one "of the the biggest culprits"?

They have less than half the debt manu have and are the richest club in the world.Manchester are coming up to 1billion pound debt, no club in the world is even close.

You can thank the Glazer family for that

True story. Madrid have been doing it for much longer. I remember at one point it was really getting out of hand, when the state tried to call in all its debts...But they didn't...

The Glazers were not really a good thing for United. But I guess that is the way football goes. We have just been unlucky that the people that bought us were allowed to without actually have actual money to do it.
