Firstly, you didn't. You weren't in the FA cup final. Secondly, you got spanked silly in the most important game of the season. I'm surprised any United supporter would be remotely happy with them being also rans. Especially now that Madrid have strengthened far past United as well, and United have regressed to a level similar to Chelsea/Arsenal/Inter/Juve.

That makes no sense.

The past does not predict the future? Past results do not indicate future success? Many ways of saying the same thing. Thought my way was pretty clear, oh well.

I'd criticise Chelsea and Liverpool's too, except they don't have a(ETA:an active, rather. If they liven up I'll be happy to rip into their tactics too ) thread to do so in.

I'm all good with that. Lol... it's just not very tactical on your behalf to rip on a team that was in all honesty more successful in recent years than yours though. Maybe you should start a Liverpool Supporters' thread and remind them how long it's been since they won a top division title!

I'm all good with that. Lol... it's just not very tactical on your behalf to rip on a team that was in all honesty more successful in recent years than yours though.

I'm ripping their tactics. I don't really care about success, I watch football for entertainment. The tactics interest me, so I talk about that.

Maybe you should start a Liverpool Supporters' thread and remind them how long it's been since they won a top division title!

If I was trying to be mean I would point out all the evidence that they're skint, have poor earning potential due to the small stadium, and are going to be clattered (like everyone else) by City in a few years. And thus, will probably not win the title for at least another 10 years.

Yeah, I can read. You needed to win 3 games to win "everything".

We lost the FA Cup semi-final on penalties, so if we'd won them and a win in the final = one game, then there is the CL final, which we were in = two games.

3 games away, right. You count a game you were in (CL final) but lost, then you add another game you were in and lost (FA semi), then you add the FA cup final. 3 games, simple.

Also rans? Ha bloody ha mate.

That was the general consensus after Barcelona won so easily, yes.

I don't want to make it a habit of defending Man United supporters as I hate Man United but I'm applying your logic to my Team. If my team achieved what United has in past few years, I'd be delighted. In fact I'm happy with Liverpool as they are, I love them regardless. I'd be delighted if they won just one trophy each year especially the Premier League and wouldn't be affected one bit with missing out on other trophies or in your case being the 'best team in the world'.
