True but Mata would [I'm guessing] most likely throw lots of *money away by making a transfer request. Chelsea don't need the money either and as they've recently shown with Malouda, if you piss off the wrong chief then you could easily find yourself training with the youth team and eating by yourself :p

Mourinho being the prick he seems to like being would most likely tell Man U - Rooney + £10m for Mata or no dice :D

Would be funny if Mou sells Mata to United then Moyes gets sacked and then Mou replaces Moyes, Mata is benched again :D
 
United will never get Mata, pretty strong sources suggest United have bid for Miralem Pjanic. Not sure on the outcome of the bid as yet.

The extra creativity would be nice, but I agree. As awesome as it would be to have Kagawa + Mata, Moyes is too cautious at the moment for that to happen.

Maybe. Vidic is still considered a good defender, and United usually take the one-year rolling contract policy to players over 30. If that's the case, then Vidic might leave for one last big deal.
