i do think fellaini can come around cause he was brilliant at everton

but then again ..we need someone who will come around now not in future

he can be a very good back up CM

Why is Savage an idiot?

Sheesh, where to begin. Playing career or punditry, hes made a lot of stupid observations during his career as a pundit, particularly about Arsenal.

I also agreed with his assessment in this way. Other than Valencia and Fellaini, the rest should be out the door.

Valencia :wtf:? Why should others like De Gea, Rafeal, Januzaj, Rooney, RVP and Carrick be out the door?

I don't get the fuss about paying 3mil extra for Fellaini. Everyone makes it sound like it was the worst transfer in history. It wasn't, not even by a long shot.

Sure Fellaini hasn't panned out so far, but nobody could see that. He can still come good, who knows.

This if just my opinion, but Moyes never planned on signing him, it's simply what he was left with after the other deals for midfielders didn't pan out.

Only person not to be trusted with a transfer kitty is Kenny. :p:D

Yeah, we're still in the lead there. Stepanovs, Jeffers, Chamakh, etc

Most of what Savage says is garbage, especially in his punditry.

They were on the list of players to keep, though. I felt that Valencia and Fellaini should also be on that list.

His comment about Cleverly is just an example of his stupidity.

Oh ok i understand your comment now. It was in reference to the Robbie Savage article. I thought you were saying everyone should be out the door except Valencia and Fellaini :)

Dante has just been interviewed and said his transfer to United is not done yet :wtf:

Also heard stories on this, not sure what to make of it.. Would he really leave BM for United?

Would be a strange one, unless they have someone already lined up. Perhaps its a ploy by Dante for a new contract.

£40m for Mata to United sale...

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-united-for-fee-in-excess-of-40m-9075585.html

Chelsea are prepared to sell Juan Mata to Manchester United this week for more than £40m with a deal close and now just requiring a final seal of approval from Jose Mourinho who has, thus far, agreed the player can go.

As of this afternoon, Chelsea were still discussing their final course of action but there is an acknowledgement that the situation the club finds itself in, with a big-name player frustrated and out the team, cannot be allowed to continue.

There have been inquiries for Mata from Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, as well as a longstanding interest from Tottenham Hotspur, but none of those clubs have come close to offering the kind of deal that United will propose. Chelsea rate Mata, who has two further seasons on his contract, as of similar value to Mesut Ozil who cost Arsenal more than £42m in the summer.

Rooney won't be leaving this transfer period. Not going to bother with that saga until it's necessary.

Hmmmm I dunno what is better, Mata at Chelski or moving to UTD. If UTD do secure his services it will be a great buy, absolutely amazing player that guy, i find it strange how he just didn't gel into Jose plans.. anyway lets see what happens!
