Probably gave the team a bit of a wake up. Also think it got into Villa's head a bit ... thinking that hey we can win here.

So far so good, hopefully they don't sit back and mess it up now.

Really after all the support shown to him by the supporters, though out the crap that his given the fans it seems to me like his saying #$^ you fans you don't deserve to see United win, I will go about doing my own thing - lose with my strategy...

As a fan we are entitled to be upset - continuously seeing Moyes put up the static tactics, the need to keep playing Cleverley, Welbeck and Young whilst coming out publicly declaring your rivals will win at Old Trafford... That shows a lack of respect to Manchester United, it's players and fans.

If he was indeed rebuilding, why don't I see Kagawa, Januzaj, Smalling, Jones, Zaha get to start every week?

I think he is already blending them in. With the exception of Kagawa & Zaha, the others are getting a lot of game time.

Januzaj - He's featured heavily all season but he was rightfully given a breather after the Liverpool debacle. He was isolated and destroyed by 'Pool. He's still a lamb, so no point in sending him through the grinder. He needs to be managed physically and mentally.

Smalling - He's already had the most league appearances of his career this season, even though he's constantly being bothered with injuries. Also, he was recently disciplined by Moyes for a late night out while recovering from his recent hamstring injury.

Jones - Again, like Smalling, features when he is healthy. His season has been interrupted by knocks.

Zaha - A player Moyes felt wasn't ready. I'd have loaned him out from the get go. Probably have left him at Palace for the season or tried to push him to a mid-table club like Villa or 'ol Sparky at Stoke.
 
I'm just hoping we will be able to lure some top talent with decent experience in the off season, and start off next season better than this one. If he hasn't turned things mid way through next season then its time to look elsewhere.

I'm still of the opinion he should have kept the existing backroom staff on, they have worked with the players for years now and know all the strengths and weaknesses. But yeah, that's my opinion for what its worth.

Moyes on Sky suggests that he is getting to do battle with Pep for many more years to come....:confused:

he really does not know when to shut up :eek:

If this match wasn't going to be hard enough, the team is struggling with injuries in the backline. Rafael is almost certain not to feature while Buttner, Smalling & Evans will all be subjected to late fitness tests. Left-back is a major concern as Evra is out due to suspension so if Buttner can't play I've no idea what they'll do there.

The only thing worse than United having to face Bayern is having to face Bayern with a makeshift defence.
