Official PS3 Discussion/News Thread - No bashing!!

That would be an option if I had not already played them on my PS2.
I have no reason to want replay the same story just to see it running in 720p.

I think that the 720p makes little difference to the actual graphics of the game, it is nice to see Kratos take up the entire of the 42 inches without loosing image quality. However the smoothness of the graphics is still that of PS2 game. Even Chains of Olympus on PSP has more graphic detail than the God of War collection... Which was disappointing for me. Still an entertaining game to play!!!

Well, I still consider them to be a must-have contribution to any gaming collection of older games... sure graphics are not so great, but thats part of being a classic title I guess. Just like Final Fantasy 7 :D

Final Fantasy VII?

I heard it was good.

I missed out on playing it when it come out, so maybe I'll get myself a PSN voucher
and buy it sometime.

anyone got God of war collection? in the centurion area?
to trade or borrow?

Who like me is totally hating PSN atm? Constant issues for days now. Heavy lag, glitchy and now MAJOR system problems. Forums suggest Anon, but i'm not sure. These guys are becoming a joke - Sony and PSN!!!

Anon have denied it. Sony has hired an external company to see what happened. I will lol if it was Anon.

Any idea when the PSN network is going to be up and running - 2 weeks counting and still no connection! i guess the security mess has impacted all PSN users in a big way. i downloaded GOW chains of olympus prior to the security threat materialising but cant even copy the God of war PSP game to my PSP from the PS3 due to no PSN connection to authenticate im the valid game owner!
This sucks!

Anon have many pseudo ad hoc members and they cannot even be controlled, they do not even know who they all are, so a simple estimate of the situation leads me to believe that maybe their spokesman was not involved, who knows, but any one of the other thousands of "members" it may be. Even so the fact that Anon and GeoHots initiated this crime should be enough to convict them, whether for incitement or assisting and collaborating does not matter as they supplied the tools for the trade as well as the required information to assist with this criminal act.

If PSN were on now I would go buy MK9 and challenge one of you online.

Well It should be back at the end of may as Sony have promised. But I must say my confidence in them is at an all time low! Fingers crossed that we back online soon

Sony haven't confirmed that only speculation at this point. No commitment to an actual date yet

How do you know if your account details have been hacked. I have checked my cc and nothing has been purchased. Is there a list of all comprimised accounts?

I got my PS3 exactly 1 week before PS3 went down. I couldn't help but laugh at my luck. Been playing DJ Hero and Infamous. I still could never play FPS on a console but some games are just meant to be consoled.

Any new news on the PSN?

There is life, three guys tested KZ2 today and I believe some other game sites also had some action, still early days tho but it seems that developers started some testing on their games.
