Then final, Barca vs. Bayern?

Definitely not! It would be a Real v Bayern final in that case :D

I do think that Barca v Juve would be a very exciting match for neutrals, best attack v best defense. Unstoppable force v immovable object and all that.

So we drew Juve. It could be worse.

Hopefully we have Benzema/Bale back by then.

El Clasico final? Sounds good.

Is this official? What have we done wrong that we are being banned? FFS, seriously...

Really? Then they can't steal De Gea :D

If they appeal, they'll have a transfer window to nab him. If not, by the time they're able to bring in new players, he'll be on a free.

Not official, no.

Both Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid will be immediately banned from all transfer activity for the next two windows (this coming summer plus the next midseason winter window), according to Cadena SER and Cadena COPE Spanish radio stations.

FIFA has decided that it will hand out the same sanction that it has already given to Barcelona.

After much deliberation, football's international body has reached the conclusion that both Madrilenian clubs are guilty of continually breaking the rules regarding the signing of underage players.

Not a great game tonight, but pleased with the result.

Arbeloa has a good game, was happy he scored. Still amazed at James quality, that man is pure class. He scores the most impossible goals, seriously that opener was just insane.

CR7 didn't have the best of games and I wasn't too impressed by his attitude when he missed or when Arbeloa scored. He must be under immense pressure with Messi just 1 goal behind in La Liga.

Injuries are a bit of a worry at the moment considering our schedule:
Sevilla (LL)
Juventus (UCL)
Valencia (LL)
Juventus (UCL)

Those 4 matches are within like 11 days and will pretty much decide our fate this season.
And we face those games without Modric. FML.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT | 29/04/2015

In view of last night's reports, alluding to supposed legal sources, about a future sanction against Real Madrid for possible infractions in the signing of foreign minors, the club would like to state the following:

1. That said information is completely false, as demonstrated by the fact that the Spanish Football Federation has spoken to different media outlets to refute the claims that Real Madrid is implicated in any kind of irregular activity when it comes to signing minors.

2.- Real Madrid reiterates that the club has always scrupulously adhered to the FIFA regulations, as was explained in detail in the official announcement dated 26 January 2015.

3.-Real Madrid is once again saddened by these reports, some of which are intended to cause harm, the only aim of which are to implicate the club in supposed infractions that have not been committed.

4.- At the same time, it is surprising that certain media outlets insist on connecting the latest signings with a hypothetical sanction, as there is no relationship between the signing of players and their subsequent inscription, which is what FIFA prohibits.

5.- Real Madrid reiterates once again its absolute committment to the defence, protection and the correct and healthy development of minors, which take precedence over sporting interests and, as a consquence, confirms its total support of these FIFA regulations and the club's adherence to them.

IIRC, Barca also denied any wrong doing at the beginning.

I hope we haven't infringed on any laws regarding the signing of minors.

And if we are banned for 2 transfer windows, God help every other football club when our ban is lifted.

Just saw the squad list for tomorrows game on YouTube now. Good news, Bale is back!

Wow, what a game that was...

Expected it to be hard, but damn. We seemed to be VERY fragile at the back tonight (more than usual), with little defensive organisation and a huge helping of plain old luck. We're can count ourselves lucky that Sevilla didn't put away any of those of penalty box scrambles.

It doesn't give me much confidence for CL against Juve, but hopefully Bale will be 100% by then. He really livened the game up when he came on.

Hope that knock to CR7's knee is a minor thing, we need him fit!

Still 2 points behind Barca. God-damn did they play a hell of a game tonight, saw bits and pieces, but from what I saw they made Cordoba look like an recreational football team.

Amongst the top three, R.Madrid seems to be the most fragile at the back. The conceded the most goals this season...ImageUploadedByTapatalk1430638931.323413.jpg

We've never really been an amazing side defensively. Our mantra is usually offense is the best defense.

We had the most goal scored until, very recently, Barca decided to go on a rampage and just annihilate teams.

Was a hard game tonight. Personally, I felt that it was us playing really bad than them being that great, but I guess that's just my bias. We lacked that will to win tonight.

Also, don't think the challenge on Teves was a penalty, but I do understand the ref's decision to give it as he didn't get to watch it from multiple angles, several times.

The important thing is that we got an away goal. I just don't see us pulling a Chelsea and try to hang on to a 1-0 win at home. I know we'll come out guns blazing and hopefully we end up with something like 3-1 .

Benzema should be back by then. Bale wasn't at his best tonight, quite far from it. But he's coming back from injury, so we can give him a break.

Ramos had a shocker, which was surprising as he played so well in that position against Athletico. I'm not a huge fan of Varane + Pepe as our CB's. I'd rather go for Ramos + Varane/Pepe.

We've got a La Liga decider this weekend (every remaining game is one now, pretty much) so I hope the boys get their motivation back.

Italians are known for their defence and the first goal at the Bernabéu will decide the tie - I think

If Madrid get the first goal, they will pile on the pressure and with Juve needing another goal, Madrid will have lots of openings

Juve gets the early goal, its lights out I think - they will defend and defend well.

+1
Vidal was boss last night, absolute boss.

The odds are so slim it's practically over. Our best chance was Athletico beating Barca, but now with a 4 point deficit it makes no difference. We had it, it was there, then we got complacent and injuries hit.

At least we still have a shot at the Champions League.
