Had the same problem, found a battery on Bid Or Buy. Generic though, but so far doing a stellar job.

Nope, can't say I've noticed anything negative, its performance is on par with my previous battery prior to the swelling.

It was around R300 IIRC.

My battery life became abyssmal and when you take the cover off; the battery isn't tightly compact, it portrudes a bit. Also, if you hold your phone in front of you, you can see it bulging where the battery is.

what custom jb roms are you guys using? and custom kernels?
4.1.2 official is quite laggy i feel
im using rocketrom at the moment.its not too bad but wanted to see if you guys have found anything better?

I am on cyanogen nightly builds; quite smooth now though my phone lagged from the start.

The least laggy was AOKP with the Overclocked Hydracore kernel.

CarbonRom laggy too but like mayurh said, the phone has always been laggy. CarbonRom good otherwise

Bit of necromancy, but I just put in a new battery into my N7000, and the battery life has gone from 18hrs to 3days (18hrs on 4.0.4 and 3days on 4.1.2 stock - see my earlier posts).
