Also got the same dock. Thats the official Samsung dock and I must say, its the best looking one. Also loving the fact that you can put it on its side to watch movies etc.
 
I am also hunting the official accessories - Car dock, plus desktop dock (with additional battery charger ), spare battery - I've ordered myself the Zenus Prestige Carbon Diary.

I've also gone the rooting route .

Running Checkrom, via the kitchen installed Speedrom.

But my battery just can't seem to keep up.

Throughout the day - I browse forums via tapatalk, chat to missus via whatsapp and make the occassional skype call and view my mail via the gmail app.

at the moment, I am battling to make it home this afternoon - steadily running out at 18%.

I also have minimal apps running in the background - as I say at any one point in time - I only have the aforementioned running.

I've disabled syncing on all my accounts - I manually sync them now.

Any other suggestions ?
 
Having a similair issue... But i seem to have found switching off data saves about 20-25 % and i can get through the day.

Hell I have the same problem. Had it before I rooted and flashed checkrom, now its allot better. Still got 58%, tho I did not use it too much today.
 
I'm planning to buy a Samsung Galaxy Note in the next 4 or 5 months, in cash. Hopefully prices for the phone would have dropped a little.

I am in love with the phone, big enough to read books and clearly read websites. Can't wait to get it :).

Well my largest stat in terms of use is the screen/display. I've set brightness to 0 now. And opted to use gsm only battery at 60% holding up better as This time yesterday I was running downhill fast.
 
My phone managed quite well today... Turned off data when I didn't need it and used wifi whenever I could. Used the gps too for a bit. Only thing was with data off I had to rely on sms rather than whatsapp.

White Note : so far the only answer I have managed to get from Samsung is "maybe in a few weeks"....

If anyone gets anything more concrete regarding the WHITE one please drop a comment here.

Very interested to see how you get on with this pouch. I have the Standard rip-off Samsung pouch which has done a good job so far at protecting my phone. But its such a ballache to remove the phone from the pouch to take a call, especially when driving (I know, I shouldn't be doing that anyway).
 
Well I have a bit of an issue with my Note, where it gets quite hot when I'm using graphic intensive applications like games. I have since decided to under-volt the phone this morning and see if this fixes the heating up.

I set the voltages according to this post from XDA:

I'll run it for a few days at these settings and see if the heating problems go away.

I'm running CheckROM V5 with AbyssNote v3.7 kernel, FYI.

Anybody else's Note get hot?
