I have tried Paranoids CM10 based roms, I just dont like the "phablet" style he uses. I prefer the phone style tbh.

Fixed, a helpfull member told me to do this (for Vodacom only)
a) go to dialer and enter *#*#4636#*#*
b) choose the top option "phone information" and then scroll down to where it gives you a space to enter an SMSC number.
c) enter this code (only on vodacom): 0791722819911100 and hit update.
d) exit and reboot phone.
e) send sms to test. It should work.

Really nice to setup, bluetooth works properly, runs HydraCore 5.1 kernel.... lets hope it runs smoothly over the next week..
 
I wonder if we'll get the split screen function found in the Note 2.
 
BlackCNA 2.1 Feedback...

Bigger sigh.... still not ready for decent daily use. IMO worse than the last JB ROM I tried. Really regular hangs and freeze-ups. Bluetooth audio is sketchy, working at times but mostly not :(. So I have gone to the forever trusted RocketRom again, just V12 now.
 
I dont like PA ROMS's ... unfortunately....

Whats your battery life in the Thor Kernel? 1.7ghz ... eish! Also have you tried Thor's ROM?

It's just over a day with everything on. Downloading it now but seems he included the old play store ver 2. From my understanding it's not needed anymore because with the new ver 3.9.16 you can delete apps from history. Yeah PA just like CM except the PA preferences.apk and split sceen settings (think you can disable that aswell) and their changes so you get the changes of both which is good.
 
IRG the rom fever has hit hard hey?

I have been on crashrom for awhile now. It just works and I am happy with it.

I am seriously envious of your PC...you play games with all maxed out settings, right?

Also buggy, but less than most of the other JB's. My application icons keep disappearing from my home screen, not all of them, just some. Blue tooth audio was working 100% till this morning I got out the car, dropped my son off at school, got back in and all of a sudden audio only playing on the phone, but I can control the tracks via my car radio.... So that is still buggy too. Its not as smooth or responsive as ICS and I still dislike these hybrid phablet ROMs. The forced Dpi makes the font & icons too small. I'm trying to overcome some of the "yuckiness" of the phablet by using Nova Launcher now. Will see how it goes....
 
Ok ... JB still sux....

But I have been keeping an eye on MIUI for a while now, and a couple of groups have been busy with a N7000 MIUI :) I loved it when I still had my HTC Desire, fantastic ROM IMO! So any way, the one MIUI ROM that I really have been paying attention to is eybee1970's RocketMIUI. As you all know by now RocketRom is the best ROM (ICS) I have ever used. So I have been pretty excited to give it a spin.... hence I have, and I am very happy with it so far. So for all u guys willing to try:

Dont forget to flash HC 3.5 or 4.3 Kernel after installing the rom (camera issue with HC 5.1)

Cool, looks interesting. If there is no sleep-o-death issue then I'll give it a spin.
 
still on miui. its really pretty. Only problem is a wakelock issue... GPS. just posted on xda. will see how to get rid of it.
 
Anyone have problems with MMS? I have to switch off wireless and switch on 3g to get the things to download.

Stock ICS.
