Looking at the replays all the AB's were doing was turning the scum slightly and then the lock and flank on the one side were initiating a second shove at the angle. Did not look illegal to me. What worried me was that we were not able to counter this by changing our tactics. We need Heinke VD Merwe.
 
PDV has already worn out his welcome. Even SARFU is fed-up with him. He will not see the end of this season at the rate he's going.

Because we have a useless Tighthead prop. That is why they are able to do it with ease. A rugby match is won and lost in the scrums as the majority of set phases is the scrums. This is the corner stone for an offensive attack.

If you win the ball on the scrum but your being pushed back..... you have no front foot to work from. The most important player in a rugby match is the tight head. He should be the first person to be picked and the last person to be replaced

Agreed, unless he starts winning very soon he's going to be history. It's not so much that we losing but the way we lose, team selections, post match comments etc
 
after seeing the team, i doubt if we can win (i hope we can)...

...our scrums will struggle again, regardless of the weather. *sigh* jp pieterson, why?

and i'm not a fan of luke on the bench (or actually in the team)
 
PDV in my opinion not nearly experienced enough to be a Springbok coach, I dont doubt for one second that his days will be numbered very soon. SARFU dont play around when it comes to firing coaches and we all know that.

In regards with the team, I tend to agree on Pitbulls comment on the front front. Scrums and rucks are where the action happens.....if we loose the ball there them YES we have a problem. Obviously or at least I think the coach & assitant coaches do look at that. We will just have to wait and see the outcome of this game, I think after that we can start to throw our toys out of the cot seriously should they loose again.

So sick of hearing those NZ commentators. What a win - under pressure at the end there!

That last tri was an absolute beuty!
