Firing on a single cylinder today but hell this ref is blowing a different game to the one on the park right now. He's being insanely harsh against the Sharks at the moment.

Looks like Lwazi has a bit of a concussion...

Did you expect anything less?!

Check it out now. He just sent off Matt Stevens. I told you he's against players from Natal... :D

The Sharks usually struggle at the start of the season and against the well oiled machine that is Saracens I don't think they did that poorly. They can only get better from here. When the passes stick and the combinations get to know each other, that's when the Sharks will be at their best. It's a shame they don't play Saracens then!

Had me nervous for a while there. But not reading too much into the Sharks or Cheetahs matches, except for the way they finished which is encouraging.

All teams are busy testing combinations and game plans. We should have a good idea of actual form after Week 4 or 5 in the tournament.

Yeah these pre season warmup games are normally pretty scrappy affairs, especially under a new coach. Overall I was pleaseed the saaks got as close as they.

André Esterhuizen was particularly impressive. He looks like one to watch.
