Official Super Rugby Thread 2012

So why did the ref stop yellow carding for excessive penalties after sending a Shark off. Shouldn't he send a highlander off now since they're always commiting fouls?

I'd answer you but the resident ref fanboi would get his panties in a twist ....

Also, when I ask that question about the excessive fouls it isn't to be snarky. I honestly don't understand how that works. It was a official warning to both teams. It just doesn't just go away, does it?

Horrible game. Poor standard. Cheetahs worst performance of the season so far. A season where they've acquitted themselves well.

Too many errors, no rhythm or continuity and when they do get it going they spill the pill.

Missing the proficient goal kicking of Goosen and the rest are looking a bit tired and lead footed.

Yeah. Best player probably Ashley. Cannot understand how Naka can play him from the bench.

Piss poor goal kicking from the Cheetahs. Why not let Coenie or Brussow take a shot.

Lol. And as you say that Brussouw puts one out at the half way line from deep inside his own 22.

Well done Cheetahs! :)

Nice to have finally have a win under the belt even though you should've won the previous two games... :p

Haha! Nothing that man can't do! He should take over from Sias next week.

VRYSTAAAAAAT!!!!!

Ja, exactly what I was thinking. Considering how well they played for 60 minutes against the Landers and lose then play as poorly as they did tonight and win....??? Think they probably got their fair share of the 50/50 calls though which doesn't hurt...

I sometimes think our refs are as prejudiced towards them as their refs are towards us, with the exception of Craig Joubert who seems to be the epitome of neutrality.

Being a Sharks supporter sucks this year. Not even the team believes in themselves enough to run with the ball. Mindless kicking and zero creativity.

Don't worry the season is not over. I do however agree that this Saturday the tactical kicking was **** from the whole team.
Great goal kicking by Lambie though. Also the lineouts looked MILES better.

I feel the refs are not consistent enough in this area. First warning, second warning, card. it should be as simple as that.

They are bloody lucky that the ref disallowed that try. I thought it was the wrong call.

And Sias is kicking like his arse again!

Sias is not looking like he can do the Job at the moment. Maybe it is because I am use to seeing Goosen being so super effective. :o

Bismarck also kicked one on Saturday that most flyhalves and full backs would have been proud of :D

Was a game last Sunday too iirc. I would prefer them all played on a Friday and Saturday. Personal preference.

I would not mind Sunday mornings instead of Friday mornings as I can not watch on Friday mornings :(
