OK, so I have to revert to my least disliked team out of the two to support for the rest of the S14.

Suppose you can then conclude the same about the other 6 teams that beat the sharks. Including the Cheetahs and Chiefs. Spiral? ;)

So no, you can conclude nothing. The Stormers & Bulls are where they are cos they worked for it. Winning the home ground advantage game against the Stormers does nothing to the fact that you lost 50% of your games.

And we also made sure that we understand the laws of the game, so that the refs don't "cost" us games.

Hey, I was not the one that made this statement just after the Sharks taught the Stormers a lesson on rugby

The Stormers are definitely playing like champs at the moment & they deserve to be in the finals.

And we are all aware of how the Sharks got cheated out of those first few games ;) Interesting to note the comments relating to the refereeing decisions and some of the Bulls recent games. The log could indeed have looked very different if the "luck" had run differently for both teams.

LOL :D Anything to put SA in a bad light. The bulls are not trying to help the Stormers they are helping themselves (Spies, Matfield, Olivier, VdHeever, Steyn, Kirschener have all started every game!). The Kiwi's are quick to say things like that but IIRC they also rested some of the top players in their last match in 2002 when they were unbeaten in the round robin stages :mad:
 
The difficulties in these assignments were exposed last season when the Crusaders lost their semi-final to the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld and the Chiefs from Waikato were crushed in the final in Pretoria.

FSCK you guys! After SA got the short end of the stick for more than a decade in Super rugby as well as in the Tri nations now they complain about how unfair it is to travel... shame.

I agree with Robbie Deans:

"Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but, if it was myself, I would be looking to tax the Stormers as much as possible and even so much to force them to fly across the ocean a couple of times (for an away semi) before you potentially met them again."

Send the best team, hammer the stormers denying a bonus point and possibly make sure whoever we face in the finals has to travel.

FSCK them, they [and ANY other team in S14] would have also rested their A-team...

Why risk injuring a form/star player, in a game which the bulls have nothing to gain, and only could lose a good player...

HEY WARATAHS, HOW BOUT WINNING MORE GAMES DURING THE SEASON, AND NOT BITCH ABOUT THE TOP OF THE LOG [by miles] TEAM AND WHO THEY PLAY !!!!

I have a feeling that Pdivvy might also have had a hand in asking to rest players like Fourie, Matfield, olivier, steyn, etc etc ;) And hell why not see if your 2nd team can beat the stormers while you have a chance :p

And while the sharks, cheetahs and lions players get a nice long rest now the bulls and stormers players won't :p:D

They are rebuilding for next year. They have already appointed a professional referee decision disagreement and complaining committee.

ignoring all the other tripe in here, I also agree with this ...... I know it's cool to rest players and whatnot but there is nothing better in rugby than for the best teams to snotklap each other, week in and week out. We are South Africa, we play hard .... not like the Kiwi's and Northerners who rest people.
 
Well the Bulls played can go and play extra hard rugby and not give a crap about being cited.

So it's win-win and win for the Bulls.

It'll be the dirtiest game of the season. It's raining here tmrw as well, so not going to be pretty

I know, and agree.
Just glad I went to the Crusaders game instead of this one.

It's been sold out for weeks and people are gonna be pissed (in a bad way).
