Go mine yesterday, first impressions were not too great but it was certainly a hit amongst most of my co-workers who found it to be excellent value for money.
Once I got home and had time to play around with it I really started to enjoy it. It does wonders with the limited RAM it has, Chrome works, Death Rally plays smoothly. Only thing that I could not get to run was Epic Citadel. The sound is not bad, Digitally Imported worked seamlessly in the background and the FM Radio with RDS is reasonably quick to scan all stations.
The camera quality is not that great in low light but I was surprised to find the video recording can go up to 720p. Will see if it is any better in daylight before I can pass a verdict on it.
You can un-install some of the preloaded Vodafone apps but as of yet I have not been able to root it (using a multitude of tools) so I am not able to un-install everything I don't need.
It scores 10826 in Antutu. I will most certainly play around some more with this little wonder and also see how well the GPS does when tracking trails off road.

Not sure. Just checked the videos it records at 720p, sadly it barely breaks the 13fps mark and is encoded in H263 although sound is stereo.

Seems the video recording is a bit better in daylight, however I did notice some rolling shutter (tearing) when you shift the scene fast. Here is the specs of the videos it records (also does 720x480 and 640x480)

At work with a 802.1x EAP certificate based network and at home regular WPA2 PSK.

About the rooting, I tried every one click tool out there until I found a post that said for MediaTek based boards it is best to use Vroot (google it). It works but installs a semi-Chinese version of SuperSU that I have not managed to replace successfully so I'm just going with it. Apart from the boot animation the phone is now pretty much stock Android 4.2.2, kinda like a mini Nexus :)

The more I use the phone, the more I love it. I could actually live with this as my main phone and it's actually got me thinking of selling my new Ascend P6

The only let down is the camera, don't let the 720p video recording and oddly sized 2200x1320 3mpx specs fool you. Here are some sample images to illustrate low light, close up, landscape, high contrast and indoor situations.
