Yes, but has your allocation been changed, or is it just the label on the product that's changed?

Mine says 150GB but if I look at the actual allocation for June it's still 100GB.

Anyone else having stuttering issues with Showmax on VOX? When I switch to other ISP everything is 100%

Seems that streaming is a typical problem. Tried streaming Supersport Live a couple of times. Stutters and very bad quality. Switch to 3G and get HD quality.

I would really expect a lot more from a 20Mbs VDSL service. If that is not good enough I would like to know what is required.
 
Strange, my Netflix is streaming at 1080p without issues. Might be your streaming source.

My streaming experience on Vox is great , have no problems at all except for last night. Will test again tonight when I get home.

Well my problem yesterday was definitely from Vox side. When I switched to my Telkom account Showmax was 100% but with Vox not so much. Like I said this only started last night and hopefully it was a temporary issue that will be gone by tonight when I am home

Changing to a different ISP is almost the same as a port reset, maybe that is all that you needed. Every now and again I need to phone Vox for a port reset, and then everything is back to normal.

Yes all true, but my method to the madness was like follow:

1. Reset router with Vox account details.
2. Try watching Showmax after reset with Vox. Buffering every 30 seconds.
3. Changed account details on router to Telkom and watch Showmax seamlessly.
4. Change to Vox again and then Showmax buffers again.
5. Reset router a second time and try to watch Showmax again with Vox but the buffering still happened.
6. Changed back to Telkom and it is back to normal.

So after the above mentioned steps I came to the conclusion that Vox was the root cause for buffering.

Let's hope it is fixed by tonight otherwise I'll contact their support team.

Hmm , OK. I'm not using Showmax. Pity , otherwise I could have tested on my side as well.
 
So everyone streaming okay tonight? Cause my Showmax is buffering again and Vox support team stated that nothing is wrong on their side, but when I use my Telkom account Showmax works perfectly... I might have to jump ship if they cannot get it sorted.
 
Why o why do I lose connection at midnight for 2 minutes everytime.
 
I was just informed by Sherwin Roman that VOX dropped previous carry over data on the latest round of upgrades?

Anyone with similar experience?
