Official Vox DSL feedback thread

Mine died at about 4:30. Back now and seems to be OK. Beacon Bay north.

Suspect I might need to call Telkom in the morning and request a port reset if it does not come right. Getting Under 1meg download speed on a 20 meg line

Anyone else suffering from very sluggish international speeds?

I can't seem to get higher than 6 mbps on my 10 mbps line.

Not just on my Vox account... also on my backup. So trying to find out if it is only me...

On 10 mbps copper DSL, Vaal Triangle

the worst isp in south africa. Cape town teraco is absolute garbage

Just got home and my vdsl is crawling on VOX, switched over to infogro and all is fine. What is going on with VOX these days?

You having same issue?
Started for me at around 10:30. Seems better now.

So weird.

I also had the issue on Infogro (same as you with Afrihost and WebAfrica).
Second night now - although didn't last as long as the first night.

Getting really gatvol of all these issues. But copper DSL is the only option in my area.
That and possibly NeoFibre (wireless internet).

Any idea what the process is to cancel my ADSL Fatpipe account? I did some googling and results pointed to people requesting a cancellation and having the account dead the next day. I thought it would be the typical 30 day cancellation period?

I did find an option to do it online through the client portal though.

Vox is crawling...seems like they are throttling my capped account? getting 250 to 400KB/s on 20m line. Working fine when I switch to my backup account

If you do it on the portal, it gives you the "earliest" date for the cancellation which looks to be one calendar month as mine shows 01 September.
