Official Vox DSL feedback thread

good day has anyone's vox cap lost all the accumulated cap from the past 6 months?
 
I suspect what they are doing is just saying "flark it" and making all accounts effectively uncapped.
 
Did anyone else notice a change in their monthly package? I am signed up for a 200GB fatpipe account, but now it shows as 500GB?

Same my 100GB became 250GB. Since the beginning of Lockdown it has been 300GBs which was pretty cool.

Only thing is their usage tracker is pretty messed up. On some days I have usage spikes which are impossibly high for my internet connection. For example, I hardly used the internet on the last day of the month, yet my usage was higher than ever, 80GBs for the day.

At one stage I thought maybe it was my WiFi that has been compromised, or that maybe one of my devices had gone rogue with updates etc, but it's definitely none of those things.

Of course if I try to check what type of traffic caused most of the usage, it shows as "64GBs of "unclassified" data.

At first I was thinking this was an intentional thing to make our data run out more quickly, but it's totally random and more likely a glitch on their side that has been going on for at least a few months now.
 
I wish I had fibre so that I could struggle with it... :(

Anybody experiencing degraded streaming on Vox of late? Use to be flawless, but been poor for the last 2-3 weeks. As soon as I switch to my Afrihost backup, streaming is perfect, then back to Vox and it's buffering often..

Latency is bad as ever most of the time, but otherwise, same old same old. No issues with streaming or any other non-realtime services.
 
Thanks Vox, for changing my portal password without me requesting it. I have a paid service for October and now can't log in. Got the email, it wasn't me requesting it :mad:

This change is to further improve security access to the platform and will replace your current login credentials.
 
anyone else experiencing extremely slow speeds on VOX today? Not even getting 1m speed on my 20m vdsl line.

This change is to further improve security access to the platform and will replace your current login credentials.

I can still login using my password, and then it prompts me for a One-Time-Pin. So no passwords should have been changed.
