Now that I've upgraded my late 2007 macbook (4GB Corsair Ram, 500GB WD HDD) I have a perfect machine for all round use that should have a few more years decent life in it left.

Expose, dashboard and stacks has increased my productivity so I am now a convert for good. :twisted:

I use it as a Media centre and for gaming on my PC, on my mac I have XP in a VM as a working windows OS for compatibility reasons.
 
Glad to see someone else see the light :) I see more and more consultants popping up with macbooks at work.

I was referring to why I prefer PC to console, a console wont recognize my tuner.

I tried the tuner on my mac, only the tube supports my tuner but it's too pricey.
 
Yeah, also a Mac convert... I use a Mac at home, PC / laptop at work and a PS3/Xbox and Wii for gaming...

Altho I've got a palm sized PC that I wanna turn into a HTPC...

I'm happy with my macbook, it was the cheapest macbook when I bought it in 2007 yet it comes with optical out built into the headphone port. It's really useful now connected to my surround system, awesome.

He speaks the truth for many reasons. Besides this is the Mac section. Let Windows fanboys go into Software section and gloat how they're chommies with Steve Ballmer and how Windoze7 Rulez!!!!!!!!!!1 FTW!!!!!!!!!!11111111:). Seriously, most people in that section will tell you Windoze 7 is the best thing on earth. If they can say that, we can say Mac OSX is the best thing on earth. :)

But for games, I think Console is better, except for games like Strategy Games - Age of Empires etc.

You did not exactly make your thread war worthy dude.

Your question was rather lame and i cannot see how it could cause a war.

The best answer to windows is mac. If anything that will have linux fanboys up in arms :D.

Windoze fanboys are generally two types. Either their enterprise forces them to run Windows for some app support etc or they just can't afford to spend a few extra bucks on a Mac (instead spend more on maintenance).
 
Shame still on about poor pc users yet you have 3 of them.

You must be poor as well to use 3 pc's and not have 3 macs. Your old broken mac from 2006 is old now pete but you can only afford pc's hahahaha.

So you fit the cannot afford a new mac bill perfectly with your 3 xp pc's :D.
