Oh boy...

I have 2 SAIX accounts - 1 x 3GB and 1 x 2GB. I use the 3GB for surfing only and I use the 2GB for local downloads. ATM, I have done 45GB this month. I can't see what I've done for the other months cos the tracker ain't working.

kevin i was reading on nzbmatrix forums that some okes are pulling 6 tb's a month

the most i saw was 10 tb's and about 35 tb's in 4 months

you think 400gb is crazy u have no idea what crazy is until you see internationals usage

In context Im not saying its alot. But with our pathetic bandwidth limits and our shoddy ADSL lines, 400GB's is alot.

I'm looking forward to 2 things;

1. NeoConnect Prime Unlimited must come
2. My contract with Telkom must expire.

I'm leaving so fast, Telkom will phone me to come back ;)

Can Telkom charge you for going over on your international cap?
For example 45Gig? It's not my fault that i haven't been capped yet so
I'm alright..right?

-Thanks

So you are saying that they are not allowed to cap on our blended usage? but then
how would you ever use your local? I was asking, if they dont cap you on ur blended (so you dont actually start using local) can they charge you more?. Assuming you have done like a Gig local

Thanks

Rosso, search the forums for how the capping works, there are 1,000 threads explaining it... I'm in a bad mood because of this entire paying for my local cap thing so I don't feel up to explaining it.

Thanks gdiza,

I went over one month on my local, so should be getting a bill too. Telkom is quite the
queen of gayness.

Thanks again.

Unlike the plenty of warnings we have had for local bandwidth, if telkom makes a mistake and tries to charge you for international they can go stuff themselves. They make no warning about going over because they are completely in charge of how international gets capped.

I have gone over about 5 gigs for local, since I was testing, I will gladly pay for that. If telkom tries to charge me for extra international usage coz their systems are broken then they can bugger off!

Thanks zolly :)

*phew*, i agree with that. I have been reading around the forum, and see that telkom only has right to bill you on Local. Since its not our fault if they dont cap us, letting us use our local.

Thanks, now i can go on my way DL in peace. Just hoping i dont get shafted a fat bill like gdiza got.

Thanks all.

We are clearly on the same boat mate, i'll keep going if u keep going

@Tan365 :)

If i was working at telkom and saw the usage i was doing i would start pulling cables and pressing the big red button saying 'Cap Em!'.

I'm just glad after reading some threads and zolly's response, that they cant charge (hopefully) for extended blended usage.

I'm gonna be rowing this boat till my Hdd is fill Tan365 :)

@Porco Rosso

Damn snap!

I'l delete account now.. Never knew there were other RED PIGS (italian)!

woah, never expected that! notice i made this account today :)

RossoPorco Out!

Well, the way I see it, I have 1 gig of blended usage. It is their job to kill it, coz I can't. I am in no way responsible for capping my account on international usage, they are.

I could be downloading local now (which telkom can charge me for), if Telkom would cap me.

gdiza , didn't you ask Herman perhaps his take why M-**B is giving their users flat out no limit saix local usage ?

saix and Ti should be much closer than saix/m-b
