OneDayOnly robbed before Black Friday

Article is missing some details, or OneDayOnly isn't all too transparent due to investigations and what not. They were robbed, all which is important at this time.

Criminals are becoming more brazen; these multiple trucks must have been acquired. I am sure there is an insider who leaked the particulars to plan this accordingly.

Livestock is stolen in the same manner since whenever.

Came in with 8 ton trucks, Onedayonly says it didn't really impact them? So what did they steal then?
Honestly that sounds very familiar to another company that got robbed earlier this year. came in with 8 ton trucks and even their own fork lifts and randsacked the place.

Black Friday wasn't impacted. I'd imagine the stuff stolen was earlier orders waiting to be shipped?
Was probably returns and excess stock. From what I understand they don't hold stock intentionally, like takalot would.
I see a lot of stuff in their "clearance" section so its probably a lot of that.

Nice insurance claim to keep them liquid over Christmas

So basically all the junk that no one wanted anyway.

I'd put good money on the fact that the trucks were rented for the day from a big entity...

But yeah, there is some insider info involved in this event I reckon... Would be very interesting to know what type of stock was actually stolen.

Ordered on 26 Nov, and on 3 Dec I was advised my order was cancelled because of a "security break in resulting in the theft of a number of products"

Waiting for a refund to my credit card

I wonder if they stole/cleared out all that Puma Golf merchandise onedayonly loves to promo....;)

Hi there,

Thank you for the recent order you placed with OneDayOnly!

Our warehouse recently suffered a security breach resulting in the theft of a number of products, including your Men's and Ladies Go Walk Revolution Ultra Performance Sneaker (Options: Ladies Slip On, Colour - Ladies Slip On: Black with Pink Detail, Size - Black with Pink detail : UK 6).

We are working hand-in-hand with the authorities and will do everything we can to resolve the issue as best as possible, but we know that these processes are often long and wrapped in red tape.

With this in mind, and with no immediate access to like-for-like replacement stock, unfortunately, we have no option but to issue a refund. We know that this is super frustrating, but promise that we have really, truly tried everything to rectify the situation. Please believe us when we say that we’re as disappointed as you are.
If you paid by credit card, your refund will reflect within the next 5-10 business days. For any other payment method, we’ll refund you in store credit, which will reflect within the next 3-5 business days. This can be accessed at check-out and can be applied in full or part.
If you'd prefer a refund via EFT instead of wallet credit, kindly send us the account information and we'll refund you via your bank account instead.
Once again, we’re very sorry for the disappointment.

Kind Regards,
Richard
