OneDayOnly hit by large robbery before Black Friday

Popular online store OneDayOnly was the victim of a large robbery on Friday morning, with criminals using large trucks to carry all the stolen products.

MyBroadband learned that the criminals left OneDayOnly’s warehouse in multiple 8-ton trucks shortly after the start of the company’s Black Friday promotions.

Came in with 8 ton trucks, Onedayonly says it didn't really impact them? So what did they steal then?

Probably those "spitfire" couches that have been there daily for the last 3 years?

Jokes aside, that sucks for any business - I hope they get to the bottom of this quickly.

Black Friday wasn't impacted. I'd imagine the stuff stolen was earlier orders waiting to be shipped?

Surely must be easy to find all these 8 ton trucks? Hmm..then again...SAPS....perhaps not...

“Most of our products on offer are still with the suppliers, as ‘not sitting on stock’ is a core component of our model.”

and also the reason why estimated delivery is usually ~2 weeks, about as long as it takes me to order something from Europe ;)

Article seems to be missing some info.

Where there no security guards or remote CCTV viewing guards?

Criminals probably took the camera footage with. It is a bit odd that they don't have remotely monitored cameras. It seems a lot of companies don't do that.

Madness
Multiple 8 ton trucks and no one is alerted
Most houses have better security

Criminals, therefore, knew that it was a good time to strike if they wanted to be assured of a large amount of valuable stock.

convenient that on the day that flights into SA was stopped...their warehouse was robbed...I smell a convenient excuse.

Well ... no one said the gravy train is limited to on-rail.
