OnePlus 7

Did you update when you got the phone?

I think they solved the ghost touch with an OTA update.
The problem is only there when NFC is enabled.
Yes. Did the update when setting up the phone. Will download the cpu app later and test. During normal usage and the apps I used I haven't noticed anything though.

So coming from a pixel 3 XL I have to say OnePlus has done a great job with the 7 pro. I have no intention on putting my sim back in the pixel :)

Touch input delay is non existent. I'd say it's even faster compared to an iPhone xs max. So below 40ms. Typing is a breeze on it. In general, the screen is really something else. Colors can be set to your liking. The 90hz is just amazing. I've have not yet experienced one little bit of lag. From a smoothness perspective, I'd even go as far and say it's smoother than iOS.

The dual speakers aren't bad, but they also not great. However, they sound a million times batter compared to the 6T. They are also quite loud.

The finger print in display reader is a hit and miss for me. Never been a fan of them though. One thing I like is, one can completely disable the animation. So getting blinded at night while it scan your finger is history.

Call quality is amazing. It's on par with the note 9 I have here, which I found always had the best clarity.

The vibration motor seems to be a quality one this time. Much better compared to the 6T. I'd say it's on par with the pixel. And the pixel is known for its accurate haptic feedback.

Camera is meh. Can't touch the pixel. But I do see the GCam mod already works on it. I will take some pics this weekend and report back.

Battery wise I think it's not bad. I get about an hour SOT more compared to the pixel.

If anyone has questions, let me know.

Also got mine imported through OnePlus/MyUS/FedEx
Cost came to 14k.
Love this phone, great upgrade from my OP6

The package was at MyUS for about two days, then FedEx shipping took 3 working.

The phone is starting to pitch up on Carbonite at 14k so that sounds like the best option really as taxes/duties rates are unreliable

I wonder how much this phone would cost on contract in SA?

How do you guys manage to fare with 1 handed usage? Can you grab the status bar?
Anyone got gunk/sand in their camera mechanism yet?

I would love the pro but that camera + size is really off putting :(

It depends how I hold the phone. If my pinky hugs the bottom I can't reach the top. Have this issue with pretty much any large phone.

If I hold it on the side it's no problem.

It's slightly taller than a S10+

With OxygenOS, swiping down anywhere on the screen brings down the menu. No need to swipe from status bar. Such a handy thing with these big phones. I have 6T, but thought I would comment.

New update rolling out with a few improvements to the camera.
