Oneplus 7T and 7T Pro

Would love to get another one for my wife. But she's all apple. Pisses me off. What iPhone can one get for R399 a month? SE2020 if you lucky... No match for a 7TPro...

I placed an order last night. Phoned today to follow up and as per the agent, the stock is "obsolete", therefore order is cancelled.

man I feel like I got really lucky and got one of the few remaining they had in stock. Didn't stop them from trying to sell me a hisense cause it was 'Better'

They still have me in limbo, order pending last i heard, and i have't had time in 2 days to call them again

I was at the beach last week and got a small little hairline scratch on my camera lense. You can literally only see it when the light hits it at the right angle. It was probably from a grain of sand in my pocket.

Luckily it doesn't interfere with photos but I just hate to know that there is a scratch on my brand new device.

I am going to buy some of those liquid screen protectors to see if it might cover up the scratch.

Hope it does the job.

Anyone recommend a more detailed battery monitor?

I feel like something is draining mine.

The built in one doesn't work for me cos I don't charge to 100%

Can one use the Google Pay with the NFC as a card replacement with local banks when tapping at the store?

Google Pay isn't supported in SA.

Just use the NFC pay services offered by banks such as FNB. Does the same thing.

okay so its not my imagination, not sure where to begin digging though.

started with a 100% charge to try and get stats off the system battery monitor and try and figure out whats causing the drain.

Got the 7t Pro from Vodacom. In process of returning it. Simply way too heavy and a tad too big. Without a cover it's ok, not willing to take that risk though. I've given it 2 weeks and still not used to it. Will wait for the 8t, if they get it, I guess.

I wonder will they penalise you for returning it and what about the contract?

I somehow doubt Vodacom will stock anymore OnePlus phones after the 7T. The fact that they had these on offer is a fluke.

The OnePlus 9 is coming out in a few months, so they're almost 2 generations behind.

That's my concern. R220pm for the device x 24, that's just R5280.00 for the phone itself. Seems like they were clearing stock.

They will probably stuff up my order once again, and I would have passed on some pretty decent eBucks phone deals! 40% off R6499 for the 'Xiaomi : Redmi Note 9 Pro 128GB with Free Earbuds' comes to mind
