It seems to me the thing's sleep is a proper sleep. I unplugged mine on Thursday evening at 20:45 at 100%. Didn't use it again until the next morning at 6/7AM and it was still on 100%.

Yeah, standby time is exceptional. Best I've ever seen. Often I still have 100% mid-afternoon if I haven't touched my phone since unplugging it in the morning.

Anyone have an invite? If so, please pm me. My wife needs a new phone and this would be perfect.

Don't forget that the Sony Xperia Z2 now costs around the same as importing a OnePlus One, and has very similar specs. That's also an option.

Ah, forgot about that post. What sort of battery percentage are you typically left with by late evening most days? Have you installed a battery monitoring app like BetterBatteryStats to see if a particular app or setting is responsible?

Why are you posting with another username btw?

After a normal day I usually have about 20% left (at like 9pm). I've got these apps like greenify, wakelock detector and betterbatterystats. Nothing seems out of the ordinary. Just like my battery has less capacity

Maybe it's something to do with rooting then. I'm running totally stock with no process killers installed. Android has become very good at managing itself.

I rooted so that I could use greenify, because my battery life wasn't as great as everyone else was saying. So before rooting, it was the same as now. Oh well, I guess it isn't bad, I can easily get through a day, just not as much as others

Did you root your phone? I am thinking of doing it. Just got mine today

I haven't rooted my phone. I used to root my phones to improve performance, but I haven't found it necessary with the OPO.

Only reason i want to root is for the ads and titanium backup. Although i am new to Android since i was on iPhone

There are plenty of reasons to root. I find they no longer apply to me though. The only apps I need data saved for have built in sync or backup. Ads don't bother me because I'm so seldom exposed to them. Firefox on Android has an Adblock Plus addon.

Ordered and I used Stackry.

Bonus points because I'm in Vietnam now and it's 11pm.
