Just received this from Stackry:

"We received payment and notification to ship your packages, however the information on PayPal does not match up with the information on your Stackry account. In order for us to ship these items to the requested address you must do the following:

Click on this link:
http://about.usps.com/forms/ps1583.pdf
Or log into your Stackry account (if the link does not work).
Click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Scroll down to the section of the Account Settings page and click on USPS 1583.
You need to download this form, fill it out and sign it.
You will also have to provide 2 forms of photo ID.
Once you have these three things, upload them to your account.
USERNAME XXX will need to fill this form out and provide two forms of photo ID as well. These can be emailed to us.

If we do not receive the documentation required within seven business days, your items will be returned to the retailers, payment refunded and your account will be turned off. Once you send this information your payment will be confirmed and we will ship your items.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Has anyone else dealt with this type of request? Am I in any danger what so ever of ID theft, and or fraud?

My Paypal CC is linked to my home address, and my delivery address (for Stackry) is my work address, could this have caused this "payment discrepancy"?

There's no risk. If you were used to using PayPal you'd know to never have conflicting information. Many people have made the same mistake.

So the friend of mine did not send the phone back in time and now it's past the due date for returns

Any idea how I can get it sent to me at the lowest cost possible?

Really just want to send a collection request for a courier or someone to fetch it as I can see she's getting annoyed with me and the arrangements.

Thanks

Why was the phone being sent back? Why wasn't it sent in time? Just have her stop by a courier office and send the thing to you, and EFT the amount to her afterwards.

Sounds like a crap friend if she can't lift a finger for you.

I see there's heavy storms and bad weather in the US at the moment..hope that won't delay shipping too much!!

To those OPO owners that have bought glass screen protectors - which one did you go for?will go hit the OnePlus forums and read some of the reviews there but I'd like to get a local opinion as well..I've never had a glass screen protector on any of my phones but just thought that with the raised screen n silver edges being exposed, the screen is more vulnerable!

Shot a lot!

I have an invite which I will not be using. Have a Note4 now.
Not sure how to pass it on, so if you do and you want the invite, then PM me.

I've got the Orzly - very happy with it. But I've also got my OPO in a Ringke Fusion case, so don't notice the raised edges.

Just got off the phone to FedEx. If I lived in Durban I'd have my OPO already :(

However I don't live in Durban, Only a mere 200KM from it. So I'm in an outlying area. My OPO will only get here on Monday at an unknown time. Man I hate waiting for parcels over the weekends...

I got one of those Nilkin or whatever they are called 9h ones. Will use the phone a little without it. Ill then put the screen protector on and try it out again. Ill report back on it.

Edit:

Also I've read that sometimes the screen protectors render the phone useless... but it seems to be a problem with the displays more than the screen protectors. People on the OP forums were noticing that despite having the same protector some peoples phones had ghost touch issues with the protector on while others didn't. Take the protector off and all is fine?

shot - have seen in the forums & on amazon the more popular ones are the orzly and the nillkin..not a fan of the lack of camera and proximity sensors on the orzly tho..n not planning on using a case..i feel that they are higher maintenance as dust gets trapped in the cutouts but thats just a personal preference.

unlucky re the wait, wez..it's one of the worst feelings in the world..from the reviews it seems as if nothing will ever be able to protect your phone 100%, but will make it less likely to get damaged..at least with a glass screen protector, if my phone does fall, it's better if the screen protector shatters but the screen remains intact.

My OPO has arrived at stackry!!!now just waiting for my glass screen protector to come from amazon (hopefully shouldn't take to long - thanks amazon prime trial!!) then it can make its way into my hands :D

@jarrodr - I've ordered the white case with mine..but from what I've read on the OnePlus forums, the reviews of the case were not good.they complained that the case cracked and it felt as if it didn't fit the phone 100%..pics of damage (cracks, breakages in corners etc.) accompanied a few of the reviews..check them out here.

@Cowboy619 - awesome that you got the orange case..they only had the white and clear available during the preorder

hopefully the case will be ok and I won't be regretting my hasty decision to get the OnePlus case..really liked how my Nexus 5 case fitted so just assumed it would be the same with the OnePlus case!

Thanks Roldstar. Think I might get a case from Amazon. The quality of the oem Case did look shotty.

Did you manage to get free delivery with your purchase? -I ask because I think the minimum spend is $35.
What screen protector did you get? - I also might cancel my oem screen protector for an Amazon item

No problemo..I'll get free 2 day shipping cos amazon is being nice to me and giving me a free Amazon Prime trial for 30 days.

I ordered a screen protector from OnePlus cos it was pretty cheap - $5..but wanting to order a glass one from amazon cos I'm concerned about the raised screen being more vulnerable..going to place my amazon order soon cos i should be sleeping but also cos i would really like my packages to leave stackry by next wednesday..just remembered that it's thanksgiving on thursday so chances are, they won't be able to ship then.

Called DHL Express now, apparently they don't do private - only business and you need an account with them

Go to a Postnet and they can arrange a remote pickup for you. They have accounts with DHL Express and can do this for you. You may have to speak to the manager though as the front desk guys are usually not well trained.

The reason we don't do remote pickups for cash clients is they often get weight and dimensions wrong so you say it's 1 kilogram and when we arrive it's 10.

It is better to have somebody send it though as lots can go wrong with remote pickups.

Votes please, looking for a case with the best protection. Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit Case, Tudia Cygen Case or Diztronic TPU Case?

I also ordered an OEM screen protector, should I invest in a better one?
