Ongoing Palestinian terror attacks against Israel.

I just cannot believe for the life of me how the one side here just ignore history and reality.
It also amazes me that they cant accept that they attacked Israel not the other way around and they did this on all fronts, they then lost their land in an unprovoked war now they are crying for their land back?
They have shown at every turn that they want war and terror and wont stop until Israel and the Jews are gone.
They send in children to mass kill others.
They send in women to mass kill others.
They kill children, women, elderly, they know no bounds, they are pure evil.
How any sane rational person cannot see this speaks volumes.

Pure and utter hatred for a nation.
I think Israel MUST continue it path and destroy the homes of these terrorists.
Time to make them pay
The only language some Arabs understand is war

Two palestinian stabbing attacks foiled in Jerusalem, Hebron; both terrorists killed

Second Palestinian attack this morning:

Two stabbing attacks foiled in Jerusalem, Hebron; both terrorists killed

Two stabbing attacks were foiled in Hebron and Jerusalem on Saturday morning. In both cases the attackers were shot and killed and there were no others wounded.

During the stabbing attempt in Hebron, the Israeli target of the attack shot and killed the terrorist. The Israeli was not wounded in the attempted attack.

The suspect approached a checkpoint in the city and tried to stab one of the security forces. When this attempt failed, he came after an Israeli citizen who used his personal firearm to shoot and kill him.

Shortly after the Hebron attack, a terrorist was shot and killed in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood in Jerusalem after trying to stab an Israeli. No one was wounded by the attacker.

An initial report revealed that Border Police forces in the capital approached the suspect and asked him to present his identification documents. At this point the man pulled out a knife and tried to stab one of the officers. The attacker was subsequently shot and killed

Abbas condemns attack on Joseph's tomb

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas denounced the attack and established an investigative committee to probe the incident. The attack was an irresponsible act which doesn't reflect Abbas' principles and views, or the principles of Islam, his office said in a statement. Abbas also said that the Palestinian Authority will be responsible for reconstructing the compound and will cover the expenses.

President Mahmoud Abbas has ordered security forces to prevent clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian demonstrators

President Mahmoud Abbas has recently ordered his security chiefs to quash growing protests against Israel's occupation across the West Bank.

Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces have arrested at least 14 Hamas members since the beginning of the month, further sharpening internal Palestinian tensions at a time when unrest is engulfing much of the occupied Palestinian territory, Hamas officials told Al Jazeera.

Seems Abbas is struggling to contain the right-wing looneys just like Netanyahu.

Yup. When you have kids attacking innocent people you have no option but to stamp out this terror hard and fast

All this needs to come to an end very soon. Hamas is going to carry on poking the giant until one day it reaches its limit and turns Palestine into a parking lot. It certainly has the military capability to do so.

Exactly what I said in an earlier post. It's a matter of time before Israel send in their troops to Gaza for a takeover. It won't be pretty.

Unfortunately this is correct.
Israel has restrained herself and anyone who bothers to read the news and see what capabilities she has knows this.
If she wanted to she could unleash hell on earth there but she doesnt.
What is the future? Now that Iran will have a nuke weapon and hundreds of billions from Obama to fund more terror in the region??? Saudi and Iran having a go at each other??
The region is in flames and its only gonna get worse

How you compare the 2 is beyond understanding.

It's a political similarity - leaders trying to balance the various interest groups around them without sacrificing their own power.

Please can you post links where Jews are doing what or anything remotely close to what the Arabs are doing.

Read the links I've been posting all throughout the thread.

They're also basically never held to account by Israel and are often protected by the IDF while doing it.

Not really fair quoting a left wing liberal paper like that is it?
Like quoting FOX to support a Republican ;)
Anyway, when dealing with the majority of Arabs, peace isnt a solution and its viable
The world needs to get away from the PC left wing nutjobs.
Peace and being a bitch to these lunatics doesnt work.

Unfortunately the biggest stick seems to wield results.

I dont want war I prefer a world with peace and happiness but that is a fantasy.
Time to wakey wakey

How do you see more war helping to increase Israel's security (which they're entitled to, obviously)?

They managed to get peace with their other Arab neighbours. Maybe if they tried helping Palestine become a prosperous, sovereign neighbour instead of a whipped dog in its backyard it would help matters, wouldn't you agree? And yes, this includes stopping terrorism (which Shin Bet has explained Abbas is trying to do).

Also, Shin Bet's former head agrees here - Settlement activity is probably the biggest obstacle (from Israel's perspective) standing in the way of peace and implementing a two-state solution.

http://www.spiegel.de/international...eli-security-chief-yuval-diskin-a-982094.html

SPIEGEL: You have warned that the settlements in the West Bank may soon become irreversible and that it will make the two-state solution impossible.

Diskin: We are currently very near this point of no return. The number of settlers is increasing and already a solution to this problem is almost impossible, from a purely logistical standpoint, even if the political will were there. And this government is building more than any government has built in the past.

SPIEGEL: Is a solution to the conflict even possible anymore?

Diskin: We have to go step-by-step; we need many small successes. We need commitment on the Palestinian side and the acceptance of the Middle East Quartet conditions. And Israel must freeze at once any settlement activity outside the big blocks of settlements. Otherwise, the only possibility is a single, shared state. And that is a very bad alternative.

This was last year, and things have only gotten worse. Please read the interview and tell me if you agree or disagree with him.

More war? I think you dont get whats happening in Israel or what has been happening for the last how many years? Israel was and probably always will be at war. The key is how to respond, lie down and take it or fight back?

Did they now? When was this exactly? There was no peace and no recognition for the state of Israel so please stop speaking rubbish.
They stopped attacking her when they realised it would never succeed. Thats what happened.
What has Hamas done with all the money and resources? Oh right built tunnels

And I agree and always have had this stance. So whats your point?

They can stop perpetuating one of the main reasons there is war in the first place - illegal occupation of Palestinian land and the expansion of settlements.

Besides, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has themselves pointed out in previous years that diplomatic solutions lead to a reduction in rocket attacks.

http://www.mfa.gov.il/mfa/foreignpolicy/terrorism/pages/one month of calm in gaza 28-jul-2008.aspx

Hamas doesn't pose an existential threat to Israel, many Israeli experts agree on this. Here's another brigadier-general and former top guy in Shin Bet saying the same thing:

http://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Theres-no-existential-threat-against-Israel-408547

Israel has arguably the most effective military in the world. They can handle military threats, I don't doubt.

This isn't a military problem, it's a political one. And it won't get solved using military means.

Yes. Stop ignoring things that don't fit your confirmation bias.

This was last year:

Shin Bet chief says Abbas does not encourage terrorism, contradicting Netanyahu

And then again 6 days ago:

As part of a briefing to the cabinet on the security situation, the official said Abbas has instructed his security forces to prevent the violence as much as possible. The official added that most of the attacks have been carried out by individuals who are not connected to any organized terrorist group.

marine1 said:

They did, in 1993 already. What did it get them?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel–Palestine_Liberation_Organization_letters_of_recognition

Mr. Prime Minister,
The signing of the Declaration of Principles marks a new era...I would like to confirm the following PLO commitments: The PLO recognizes the right of the State of Israel to exist in peace and security.

...

Sincerely,
Yasser Arafat.
Chairman: The Palestine Liberation Organization.

So are you going to stop speaking rubbish?

Lebanon, Egypt and Jordan do recognise Israel.

And now you want recognition, not peace? When will Israel grant Palestine recognition?

marine1 said:

That you should actually factor this into your view, not just dismiss it and blame the Palestinians for everything like you currently do.

You say the rocket and terror attacks are why Israel is responding the way it does, but refuse to actually consider what Israel is doing and how it factors into why the Palestinians are responding the way they are.
