Only names that "make us have nightmares" will be changed

But I think most folks in SA are seeing the reality of which of these two options has occurred in SA.
No. Most folks still live in abject poverty, have access to a radio and SABC tv, do not read newspapers and have no idea what the Internet is. Most folks see the ANC as the saviour from White Oppression. By design the entire system is slanted in accordance to race, and therefore they will enjoy majority rule until the ANC is split into smaller, competing parties. Your ideology that you speak of is really a non-starter. The ANC HAS 70% of the vote. The ANC HAS a democratic, overruling majority in all government structures. The ANC HAS the full-blown support of the voting public. Most folks are mildly upset that they haven't got everything they wanted, but for the most part they still believe then ANC will one day deliver. Changing place names is one way the ANC is showing the masses things are changing. Sure, it's a fronting exercise - but it works.
Thats not reality. Reality is 'doing whatever necessary to win or kill the opponents'. re debate over framing for bombings, and/or shooting of innocent children etc.
What do you want in guerilla warfare? People to line up nicely on either side and take turns at shooting?
Let's just nip this little thing of guerrilla warfare in the butt. No organisation will ever get close to starting such a movement in this country while the ANC is in power. The ANC's paranoia is extreme - especially in leadership circles. Any attempt to get such a movement off the ground will be met with swift, fierce resistance. The Boeremag tried, and I think the whole country was amazed at how quickly the movement was rendered useless. A minority of a few whities are not going to achieve any regime change in this country - so forget that idea.
If that means pretending to be the other side and doing false flag operations (look it up) then that's what happens.
Please, any such organisation would fail simply by virtue of comprising the support of a small minority. In any event, in the world's most violent continent, do you really want to pit a tiny, insignificant group of people against a majority of people who have no qualms in fighting for what they want? This is not the battle of blood river where the minority group has better tactics and bigger weapons. This is a battle where the government OWNS the military, where the masses are mobile within city limits, and where the minorities are not supported internationally.
Remember, in any political struggle - a majority never bother to take part. Its always a tightly knit group -a minority, who go to war, and deliberately provoke the ruling powers into lashing out at everyone - which then sparks an escalation, and it pulls more and more of the unwilling majority into one or another form of protest..
You need a bit of a history lesson my friend. I enjoy your posts for the most part, but I'm afraid you're well off the mark on this one. In Africa the spirit of Ubuntu follows the people in good times and bad, even during times of war. Even children participate in Africa's political conflicts - South Africa is actually rather naive when it comes to the way things really work on an African scale.

I'd rather see the country succeed with me being able to live here, but that will not happen in my time.

Just out of interest, who else sees school children as more of a threat than terrorist?
You have seen what "children" can do in African civil wars. If I were to point a gun on you, I will not be able kill you. Do you think a child has the same sense of morality? Regarding children violently fighting police officers, they are not children, only combatants drawing the short straw when they are killed.

Review some of the TRC hearings. There are a number of bombings which were framed, I don't deny that ANC would be responsible for a number of other bombings but you certainly don't need to idealize over a bunch who would sooner frame the enemy than actually admit to whats going on.
You brought the bombings up, the ANC killed innocent people. You support them still. If you wish the pass the blame to the NP government, rather than the ANC, go ahead, your post is a joke. :) Idealism my ass.

But you do agree that the state was doing the same thing at the time, right? Or did they have just cause?

I have answered 3 times now. I do not condone violence.

I have not read any report that the NP bombed its own people. Yes they did kill ANC supporters, that much is well documented. People who were killed were violent protesters and dangerous ANC supporters. Pre-emptive measures were taken.

The ANC was already killing innocent people with bombs, so I don't believe the NP has any reason, even to anger the people, to do so also. Feel free to point me to a relevant link.

I do not support the NP, nor the ANC, if both took part in bombings, it only draws more parallels between the NP and the ANC.

Why is there so much violence in KZN ?

You know what, at the risk of apearing on the same side of the argument with you, i would also love to know the answer to that;). I've had countless discussions with my friends about this, the answers that i get are too controversial to discuss here. I should also add that most of my friends (Myself included), have very little first hand knowledge of the situation in KZN. Anybody here from KZN? Please shed some light.

Yeah, yeah yeah, we all know nobody ever voted for them either.:rolleyes:

Quite right, I'm 23 years now so I did not vote the NP. If you still support the ANC of today, you would have supported the NP had you been white in 1970. Which is why the vote you cast today the for the ANC is questionable.

:confused:I don't understand the logic behind your argument, but just out of interest, what/who would you have voted for?:)

I believe there is no difference between the NP and the ANC. The ANC stands for the same principals as the NP, except for blacks and not against. Instead of against whites, only for blacks.
- Corruption
- Tacitly approves violence
- No respect for the constitution
- Promotes racism
If you can put up with the ANC, the NP would have been your party had you been white.

I would have voted for the NP, because of what I know today I would have fought as hard as anyone against the ANC. I would prefer the oppressive government, the NP benefiting me than the oppressive government, the ANC which does not.

My parents were not NP supporters, my dad was disinherited because he did not share my grandfather's political and religious views concerning black people. My grandfather is a millionaire, so my parent's insistence otherwise is a testimony of their characters.

The biggest mistake the NP made was the official Aparthied policy, they should have like the ANC, put in small laws here and there to make life for white people difficult to the point where they leave the country.

^^ Im 22 and I may have an even greater chip on my shoulder if not the same ;)

You see the newer generation has arrived kiddies :p and this whole blame apartheid and the NP blablabla thingy is honestly getting old :) no jokes hey? (no disrespect intended it is just how I see it, I am still a kid I know :p)

I believe my parents and grandparents did not support the NP during it's time however seeing my dad rant and rave today is probably a sign that he has changed his views quite dramatically. I can't say I blame him knowing what he knows.

You know what we need, something like the IRA. Maybe that will sort all our nonsense out. Some group of people who don't take shyte.

In 1992 when the majority of white people voted yes for the end of apartheid we (white people) were all for the new South Africa. Now a decade and a half later we (white people) are considered non African and racist as soon as we voice our opinions.
I voted yes for a new South Africa where all of us are treated as equal South Africans, not each race gets treated differently .
Btw I was 18 in 1992.

What will you vote now?

If they were to vote again, they will not vote the same.

I would rather vote for the end of Apartheid, but not for "democracy". I don't believe politics based on colour as we see TODAY in RSA, is a real democracy anyway. I do not know how my parents will vote today, I think they will be torn between what is right and the reality of what RSA has become.

The NP should have stayed in power, they should have uplifted the people and when the people were ready, handed over power. People in power today are incompetent, greedy and full of hate. These people do not even has respect for themselves.

If I knew that my yes vote meant reverse racism I would have voted no.
