Openbrowse router proxies not avaliable!?

I seem to have the same problem for the last couple of days, quite annoying...
 
this is absolute madnessssssssssss:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

it is not getting better at all its getting worseeeee i signin too yahoo messenger and it works for about 2 minuets and then goes completely dead absolutly dead , how am i supposed to keep in contact with my friends and family oversea's if i cant recieve there messages ????????

so i looked at the openrouter log and saw that there are 2 ips that we get responces from where it says "bytes received from Remote *******"and so i pinged them and guess what the one is completely dead no responce from pings in the last 10minutes and the other i get a responce

We are on an entirely new network with some hectic security filters to block out abusers :)

Not trying now as I am dashing off to work in a bit but thank you for the feedback. I tend to find in business that this is often all the client wants/needs, some sort of feedback as to what is happening. We can be an understanding bunch :) but it is terrible when you are left in the dark and do not know if anything is being done. Rather tell us too much than too little! :)

Sorry about the problems with abusers! Hope the buggers have a bad year!
 
Please just remember, a ping will not work on local only as the ping does not go through the proxy. Thus, even if the proxy works perfectly, the ping will always time out.

hiya

thanks for the feed back yeah i wasnt sure if those pings would go though the proxy or not lol anyway i closed openrouter and opened again and tried to go to gmail and facebook but got "page can not be displayed" error back

*shrugs*

EDIT:

hehe ok it goes there now closed and opened it up again will continue watching it through the day.

Hmmm it seemed to work again for a while, but now it just says "OpenRouter initialising..." It seemed to work if I only browse, but then it would stop working if I run MSN too... anyone else have this prob?
 
from what ive experieced so far its still slow doesnt seem to really like yahoo messenger either
 
hmmm iam also getting "initialising" in the systray it seem to work for a while and then just dragggggggg along

is'nt this only MEANT for browsing ? I'm typing this message over it and it works perfectly !!! (512Kbps Openbrowse)...

Does MSN actually use the Proxy defined in IE/Firefox ?

um yeah got a strange problem with gmail now too

i log in and it says

This file is blocked due to an Openbrowse policy
Contact your OpenWeb support Staff for more information

then if i click back it shows my inbox *shrugs*

dunno about msn though but yahoo signs in for awhile and then i get disconnected
 
At least the browsing (which is what OpenBrowse was built for) is now running at the purchased speeds: 192k, 384k or 512k.

We will correct the GMAIL error asap.

We are also working on making MSN connect everytime. Although OpenBrowse is not meant for MSN, it would be good if it works.

Hinet.net address are notorius for hacking and spamming...

Sounds wierd why the message "CLIENT CONNECTION REJECTED" somehow seems like those IP's are trying to connect to your openbrowse application.
