Hi all,

I've seen some posts online about this, but no details on how to proceed.
OpenServe installed fiber in my Estate and I received confirmation from the PM that testing is successful and project is complete. The only step that has to take place now is the loading of the site to the coverage map.
This was 4 weeks ago...

The most frustrating part about this is that no-one in OpenServe can give me any ETA on when this is going to happen.

Anyone that can help with escalating / getting an update?

Hi frikbrits

Kindly confirm your contact details - so we may get on this and help you get your fibre asap. You are able to either PM me or email the following email address: [email protected]

We will be waiting for your most valued response - will gladly help you

Thanks for everyone's quick response.

I'll go with any provider that can assist me with getting this live and installed.

@WebAfrica: I've sent a mail.

@LazyLion: I've spoken to 3 x different call center agents at Open Serve and each one has given me different dates / frequencies on when the map gets updated. I hope it's not the 1st day of every month. That will mean I need to sit back and wait until 1 Aug just to place an order.

Trust me, I've been watching that map religiously - every single day.
Those were the days that it was updated - at least in the Alberton region.

You see the peon in me would go and start digging holes just outside the estate. Say you looking for fibre, that is should Telkom techies enquire as to your business at that time.

The fiber is there. I can see it running through the entire Estate. PM also said that it's tested and signed off.
