Openserve router security protocol

Hi all. I have setup my TP-Link router as an extender, but it is not extending. I guess that I have to set up the extender's security protocol to be the same as that of my Openserve ONT. I cannot access my ONT's IP address to see what the security protocol setting is.
Help please.
