OpenWeb Gold and throttled

Hi KalinOrela,

Have you received a response to your query?

I have the same issue with a Platinum Uncapped 4Mbps account. I just emailed support and lets see what will be the response.

Hello,
Yes, I have a few minutes ago. My port was reset and I should try in 60 minutes. It will be after 5pm so I will try tomorrow and see how it is.

I still disagree with these port resets. I'm on the IS backbone and have not once requested a port reset in nearly 2 years. It just works.

I have done the search as suggested HavocXphere, however, no direct match to the emails are found.

Your idea has room for error.
Not really. I suppose OP could have forged the email contents posted but short of that the email should be somewhere in your email system, and thus given a modest dose of skill and a working search function it should be traceable.

Kinda boggles the mind that an ISP is unable to locate an email with known contents on their own system.

ISPs rica customers? Seriously? Never happened to me.
Sort-of. They usually want a copy of your ID. Some legal requirement.

I am sure you are not aware as to the volume of emails an ISP receives on any given day.

Searching for certain string such as "slow speeds" and "my speed is slow" will bring up various different results. Matching it to a forum post with no direct confirmation system is not practical. Unless a client has explicitly linked their MyBroadband nickname to our system allowing us to trace the post back to them, i'm afraid your suggestion is not noted.

We reply to every single email received. If someone does not receive a response, either we did not receive their email, or they did not receive our reply.

I am not sure what your agenda is here on this thread, as efitol, the OP has been assisted, as per his latest post.

I request any further problems to be reported via our Call Centre, Email or SMS system. Details are available here:

No further official OpenWeb responses will be posted on this thread.

Folks can visit the OpenWeb Uncapped Feedback thread, as this is our official discussion regarding the OpenWeb Uncapped products.

Enjoy the rest of your public holiday,

Kind regards

Which is why I said unique phrase. In this case for example "aforementioned 130 gigs".

Indeed OP has been assisted, I was simply continuing the discussion about what I see as a strange claim coming from an ISP. Agenda...haha...if I had an agenda against OW the result would look very different. ;)
