Nope the R999 option gives you uncapped AND unshaped.

P2P and similar is shaped, which includes Rapidshare and similar.

P2P is shaped according to how busy the network is. If you are a downloader, I would suggest you go for the After Hours Uncapped Unshaped special for R999.

Absolutely no limits on downloading, or any protocols, after hours and on weekends.

Guys I am still living on a tight budget and can only afford a 384k line for now. So will this package benefit me, if I was to use it for general browsing and downloads. What speeds can a person expect on news servers with a 384k line.

CRAIGDOEPIE you can expect good speeds as I signed up last month and torrents run at full speed during nigth time and during the day it is around
15kbps ,HTTP downloads runs full speed all the time and browsing is quick all the time and I am not sure about the news servers so basically thats
what you will get out of 384kbps gold package but remember you wont be able to make free calls because it is not available anymore, you wont have a
client zone account because they wont be able to add a special package which is the 384kbps gold package promotion onto the client zone account and
you cannot check your usage but good service support from them so these are my experiences so far from them when I signed up on they promotion

I have an "old" Gold uncapped account (R318 p/month), not sure how it will compare to this one. Downloads from newservers are very acceptable after hours. Haven't tried during business hours.

cancelled my mweb and just joined up for the gold uncapped 384k

i realy hope its worth it, mweb was getting a bit bad with their shaping.

BTW does anyone know how soon i can expect my username and password from them ? i've sent through the fax today with debit order details so will i get it immediately or only after the debit order goes off ?

cant wait to start testing this product, heard wonderfull things about it and finally can afford to test it out.

All you have to do is phone them then they will email you a form then sign the form
then email it back to them but it must be before the 31 november (1 month cancelation notice)
then in january you can move to a new Isp.
